NaLu: My Mate

Lucy's P.O.V

I walked on the streets of Magnolia. It was busy as ever. Vendors and stalls everywhere. Little children playing tag and others just go for bondings.


I walked by the sideways near the river. I tried to balance on this sideway by stretching my arms and walking straight.


"Miss Lucy! Be careful!" I heard the kind man on his boat on the river shout.


The man always looks out for me whenever I'm on this sideway. "Yes! I will!" I told him. I continued back to my apartment.


Seriously, I hoped Natsu and Happy didn't crash in apartment. But I didn't mind having companions in my room. I felt always felt alone and I often call for Plue to entertain me or Lyra to sing me a lullaby.


I went inside my apartment and opened my room. What surprised me that Natsu, Happy, Gray or Erza wasn't here. I was relieved they weren't here but the same time, I missed them. Even though I always see them in the guild and go missions with them.


I walked to my bed and plopped myself on it. I felt tired since I've been on a solo mission today. The mission was to kill some thugs who stole a jewelry store's precious pearl. It was kinda easy for some point though they used magic. At least the reward was 500,000 jewels enough to pay my rent for 5 months.


I went to take a warm bath to sooth myself from all the stress I've been in today. Levy asked me to make another chapter of the story I'm making, Gray and Natsu fighting again and once again stopped by Erza, Mira teasing that Natsu likes me and Happy bugging me to give Carla fish since he is to "embarrassed" to give it to her. It gave me such a migraine.



I dried myself up and I put my pajamas on. I walked to my bed and suddenly, a hand stopped me. I didn't know whose hand is it but it felt warm. I suddenly got pinned down on my bed. I didn't know who it is because the lights in my bedroom were dim.


"Luce." I knew this voice. It was Natsu's.


I felt his breath near my face. Every breathe he makes gave me the shivers. "N-Natsu, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be home by now because Happy will find you?" I asked him while trying to pry his hands off my shoulders which resulted in him grabbing wrist.


"I told Happy I'll be out for AWHILE. And this time, I'm not letting you go." he told me which made me shudder in fear. What did he mean by "I'm not letting you go"? Don't tell me-


Before I asked him millions of questions, he kissed me unexpectedly. The kiss was full of hunger and lust. We stopped the kiss to catch our breath.


"N-Natsu what was that now?" I asked him. I was surprised. I couldn't believe it. Natsu Dragneel kissed me. He kissed me on my LIPS.


"Luce, you know that today's is when Dragon Slayers find their mates right?" I forgot! Mira also warned me of today because of the "Mating Season" of the Dragon Slayers. Man.. I forgot that!


"Uh yes. And your point is?" I wondered. Why he asked me that. Wait... Don't tell me?! He's going to make me his mate?!


"Be my mate. Be mine forever." I was right.. Oh dear Mavis, please tell me I'm dreaming.


"Hm... Ok. It's for you anyways!" I said it in my bubbly tone.


"Luce. I'll mark you. It'll hurt a bit. But please trust me." I believed him. He never hurted me. He was always there to protect me. "I trust you Natsu." I told him. I never lose faith in him.


He neared his mouth near my neck. I felt his breath which gave me shivers through my spine. I wasn't prepared for this.


"And Luce, being my mate is forever. The mate of a Dragon Slayer will stay forever." he told me. I then shut my eyes for this moment. Forever...


He opened his mouth to show his fangs. He then bit my neck. It caused a small mark on my neck to show up. I hurt a bit.


After that, he kissed me passionately. We had a heated night.
