Being different is hard.
I never asked for this.
I try to be a normal teenage girl but it's proven to become difficult the past two years. I've transferred schools 3 times from close calls to showing what I really am. My excuse was that I was getting bullied but that was never the case since I would always keep myself to myself and nobody would bother talking to me.
It would be once in a blue moon that I would get called names such as 'nerd', 'bitch' but the one I would get called the most would be 'weirdo' and they were right because I was.
People would notice slight changes about me.
Scratch marks.
Bruises.
Cuts.
Change in eye colour.
Sudden disappearances.
Limping.
For being unpopular in your school, you wouldn't think that anyone would notice things like that but they do.
Every day would become a challenge to try hide them and every day I would always try to prevent them from happening but I couldn't.
Being different is hard.
