The sun was shining through the window, filling the dark room with light. A girl with dark brown hair was sleeping on her bed, her face illuminated and glowing with the light. There was a rainbow spread across the wall.
The girl stirred.
An evil sounding cackle came from the first floor of the house.
The girl awoke and heard footsteps thundering up the stairs.
Not again, she thought.
She then proceeded to jump out the window, wearing only an oversized tshirt, her feet bare.
