Jake's POV

It was the summer of 2013 in July. I was planning on driving my boyfriend, Aleks, to a fair to spend our anniversary together. However, he doesn't know where we are going. I really hope that he will love the surprise.

"You still haven't told me where we are going," Aleks said in a whiny voice.

"Not yet~," I sang with a grin.

I looked over to my lovely Russian to see that he made a pouty face with his arms crossed over his chest, releasing a sharp exhale of breath through his mouth. I chuckled and patted his head before returning my eyes to the road ahead of me. We continued driving on the on the winding road.

"No way, dude," Aleks gasped.

I pulled into the parking lot of the fair grounds. Colorful lights bounced off the cars as I parked into a parking space. We both got out and walked to the entrance hand-in-hand. After paying for our tickets, we played some carnival games and went on rides.

"Oh man, that was fun," I said laughing, trying to catch my breath.

"This was the best night ever!," Aleks said laughing as well.

"Well... not yet..," I said, turning to my lover as I kissed him lightly on his cheek.

I grabbed his slender hand as we walked over to the boardwalk that out looked over the ocean. We both stood near the railing as the calm ocean waves washed up onto the shore. It was definitely a beautiful night tonight. A full moon, stars sparkling in the dark sky, and not a cloud to be found. I looked back to see my lover was staring at the beauty of the scenery with a small smile on his face.

"Aleks," I whispered, grabbing his attention.

He turned his attention to me, the soft moonlight reflecting off one side of his porcelain face and colorful lights off the other. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

"I just wanna say that I love you with all of my heart. I'm so glad that you entered my life and I love every second I can spend with you. Every winter is wonderful, every summer is special when I spend it with you. I love you."

After I had confessed from my heart, the Russian's eyes welled up with tears. He pulled me into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around my torso. I returned the hug and kissed My lover on the top of his head. We stood there in each other's warm embrace, hearing each other's heart beats with our eyes closed.

"That's the most amazing thing I have ever heard," Aleks whispered into my chest.

We pulled out of the hug and brought our faces together, our lips meeting in a passionate kiss. The kiss was filled with such bliss and love, I didn't want it to end. Sadly, the kiss ended. Aleks smiled warmly at me and held my hand, interlacing his fingers with mine. I smiled back at him before pecking him on the lips.

"Hey, let's get out of here," the slender Russian seductively said, winking at me.

This caused my cheeks to warm up. Still holding hands we exited the fair and entered the car. I drove out of the parking lot and onto the road to start our journey back home. We drove through the night, moonlight lighting shining down on every thing, stars sparkling in the sky.
