Part 29/ How the tables have turned.

I sigh when i think about all the work I'm gonna have to do when i get home.
Damn it,why do the neighbors have to block my way every time!
"Mommy.I'm hungry." I smile when i look in the mirror and see those blue eyes.

"I know baby.Give me a second." I say while i find parking spot.
"Can we go to the beach?"
I smile "Sure.And if you eat your carrots,I'll even buy you ice cream."
I finally stop the car and open their door.
"Come on." I grab their hand and we walk to the house.

I rummage in my purse to find the damn keys.
Well maybe if you keep your purse organized,this won't happen!
"Mommy,who's that?" I frown before look at where they're pointing,and my heart stops.

Its...him.
How...how did he find me?
"Baby,go inside." I turn to look at them but they're not there.
I see them running to him.
He has a evil smile on his face as he watches me.
"Baby,no!" I shout.

I open my eyes and sit up straight and breath heavily as my alarm goes off.
I wipe sweat off my forehead and take deep breaths to calm down.
I place my hand on my stomach and smile "Hi." I say before i get up and wash my face with cold water.
That's not the first time I've seen that kind of dream.

I take a shower,and blow dry my hair before i dress up.
I stand in front if the mirror and look at my cute bump.
I smile as i turn sideways and look at it.Its not that big,but It'll get there.
I snap a quick picture and send it to Connor and after a few minutes he calls .

"Hi." I smile as i make breakfast.
"Hey.How are my favorite people doing?" He asks.
"Good." I smile looking at my stomach "We're gonna have breakfast,and then go to work." I say buttering my toast and get a cup of tea.

"You know you don't have to work right? I've told you a million times!"
He says.
I roll my eyes "I know that.But i get bored.And it's only temporary!" I remind him.
"Plus i like my boss,she's really nice." I say and he sighs.

"Okay.Did they deliver the couch you ordered?" He asks.
"I canceled.I don't think it really goes with the room.We can decide on another one tomorrow."
"Why not tonight?" He asks.
"This girl from work asked me to go see a movie." I say.

"That's great.You live in a nice area,nice school area,you're already looking for a nanny.And i will be there in...?" He ask about the due date.
"August." I say.
"Yeah.I gotta go.I love you." He says.
"Love you too." I say and hang up.

"Let's get ready for work." I say getting up.
I wear a black skirt that reaches my knees,a white V-neck and a black blazer so my bump doesn't show that much.
I put on my coat and heels and and walk to the bus stop.

A month ago I started working as an assistant to the owner of a catering company while her assistant is in the hospital.
It pays well, its temporary and it gets me out of the house.
I reach the huge building and greet the security guard before i walk in and ride the elevator up to the fifteenth floor.

"Morning Danny." The receptionist says with a smile. She's the only person who has been decent to me here.
"Morning Lydia.Is your son feeling better?" I ask.
"Yes.His arm is broken but he's happy he gets to wear a cool cast." She says and i laugh before i go and sit at my desk.

After half an hour of doing paperwork i see my boss walking to her office so i walk behind her.
"Good Morning Hollie." I say walking into her office.
"Morning Danny.I haven't slept well and i wanna kill my husband,so please give me good news." She says and i smile.

"Okay.The Marilee couple want us to do their wedding,but they wanted sea food on the menu." I say and she groans.
"I know.That's why i told them it was extra,and they still want us." I say and she smiles.
"Yes! Call them back and say we agree." She says and i nod.
