CHAPTER TWO
Nekozawa said I could walk home, so I thought I would. Apparently their home wasn't that far away. I followed the map he gave me, taking a left, a right and two more lefts. Eventually I came to stand in in front of a beatiful mansion like building. I took a moment to admire the grounds and gardens before entering through the large entrance doors.
I looked at my sorroundings. Before now I had been staying in a hotel, so this was the first time I entered this place. There was a huge, and very impressive, staircase in front of me. Above the stairs was a portrait of a very handsom young man, he looked almost like Nekozawa, perhaps it was his father.
I climbed the stairs up to where my room was supposed to be, oddly enough the only person I saw was a little girl who just stared at me. I tried to smile at her but she just ran away. When I reached the only door in a dead end hall I found a not on it. I picked up the note, it read:
"Hello Mikazuki!
We really hope you enjoy your stay. Don't mind the cats, they very much like cat loves. You probably won't see us during your stay, but we are doing all we can to make you happy. Enjoy your room.
--The Nekozawas"
I was almost confused, but I guess they had their lives to keep up with. I opened the door to what was the oddest bedroom I had ever seen. All over the room was cats, everywhere. don't get me wrong I love cats, it was just really creepy. And where there weren't cats, there were neat piles of books and CDs. At first I wondered if I had walked into the wrong room, but then I saw my bright green suitcase on the black polished four poster bed.
On the suitcase was another note explaining the books and CDs were for me. I had told them my interests when they asked, but I didn't expect them to go out of their way to get things I was interested in. I wandered around the room glancing at adventure and manga novels. Then back-tracked picking up the CDs which were all BOTDF, Vocaloid and Owl City.
I turned around to look at a book shelf that I had only just noticed. I glanced at what was on the shelves. I almost got a nosebleed with joy, each shelf was bursting with my favourite anime series. Hetalia, Yumeria, Naruto, K-ON!, Baka and Test, Moonphase all graced the shelves. I stood there giggling like a little kid, while staring at the shelves.
After Dinner (Author is lazy and didn't want to keep readers waiting any longer by writing in dinner^^) I went back upstairs to my room, fell on the bed and went to sleep (apparently I changed clothes somewhere along the line).
