The others stared at him in silence, "HA! that's funny mason, you've always been a joker haven't you!" Lorea snickered, mason glared at her, she caught his gaze and soon realized.
"wait, you're serious!?" She questioned. "I am serious." Mason stated, "we can use equipment from the la-."
"ARE YOU CRAZY!" Mason was interrupted by Marlo's protest,
"Sure mason!," Marlo sounded in-raged, "let's just use an unauthorized Laboratory, collect D.N.A from random organisms, put them all together in a test tube and hope a god pops out!?"
"Well of course not" mason explained, "a test tube would be much to small."
Marlo face palmed and groaned in frustration.
"Look mason," Lorea began, "even if we do consider this, an artificial God has never been done before, the process of even attempting a task as big as this one could take years, decades even, and there's no guarantee that it will even turn out correctly!"
"I think Mason is coming on to something."
Marlo, Lorea and mason turned to Lucinda, This was the first thing she had said this entire meeting.
"You can't be serious!?" Lorea questioned.
"oh but I am" Lucinda went on, "Mason, I give you full permission to assign a scientist or two to work at the lab for your little project, you may use all the equipment provide, just try not to blow anything up." She insisted.
"R-really!" Mason was utterly surprise, Lucida noded her head in agreement. "Thank you so much lu!" Mason darted out of the room excitedly. Mason and Lorea looked shocked at Lucinda,
"are you serious!?, do you realize what you just did!? Marlo sounded shocked, "yes I do" Lucinda replied confidentiality, "do not question my authority Marlo, I know much more about the future than you do and you know that. you will not be a disturbance to Mason's work, understood?" Marlo walked up to Lucinda, "you will not order me, is THAT understood? I will not be overthrown by you. Marlo warned, "but.. You are right in a way, I know nothing about what the future holds, you however can look at the future as if it's a Christmas global." Mason pondered, "fine, you are the goddess of knowledge, you know what to expect, and you better know what you're doing, because if this fails... I'm holding you responsible." Marlo ensured, "of course you will." Lucinda replied. Mason walked out of the room. The room Echoed as Marlo's footsteps walked the hallway. Lorea walked towards the door, she paused at the door and turned back at Lucinda,
"I hope you know what you're doing?" Lucinda didn't answer, Lorea walked out. Lucinda turned the tv on again and continued to watch the report. The light of the screen almost lit up the room as she stared into the digital abyss. To be continued...
