Iris was stocking shelves in Hot Topic when a group of children walked into the store wearing weird clothes, of course. When Irises manager came out of the break room yelling at iris for not attending to the costumers she retorted back " you specifically told me to stock shelves and not attend to any customer , and that James black as supposed to do that !" Iris said trying not to attract attention to herself, Sam the manager looked at Iris about to say something rude " You fired! Hear me !? Fired ! I don't care if you shop in this store just don't apply for an application! And take your feathers that you've been coughing up " he yelled at Iris . Iris made a nearby wall of 'Funko pops ' explode with one hitting her in the head , the children watched the bickering between Iris and the manager with interest. The peculiar children jumped back at Irises outburst, Iris turned around went to grab her bag from behind the counter and left bumping into their headmistress "Oh I'm sorry miss ..? I wasn't watching where I was going " Iris said softly the woman looked at her with a smile " it's perfectly fine, I'm miss Peregrine delighted to meet you miss ..? ". " Iris Peregrine " Iris said with an American accent, and with that she was gone Iris blinked and looked into the store where the children were Standing.
***Later that day **
Iris was in a dark shop which caused her hair to glow, her hair was originally a dark black but she use blue glow in the dark hair dye . Iris was picking up some food for her parents and her siblings, After Iris pays for her dinner she leaves the shop . Iris was walking down the street of her old childhood home in Circle village, iris turned around and saw the Same group of children and their headmistress outside of their home playing. Iris wasn't paying attention when she walked into the street she was so interested in the kids she didn't see a car coming until it hit her .
