Packing Up

Chloe constantly giggled at her phone, her eyes glued to it. I wasn't really hungry, but everyone else was, especially Josh who spent an entire hour scanning the fridge. Izzy was on the couch snuggled up to Bailey, and I was waiting on Josh to realize there was no food, and to sit his ass back down beside me.
We were taking a break from packing up, with only a few boxes left. Chris was at work, since he's the only one of us as far as I know who has a fucking Job. I mean, Chloe applied for one, she's got a interview this Wednesday. Josh occasionally would work on cars for extra money, or dig ditches for folks. As for Izzy and Bailey, I have no idea. They rarely come over here, and when they do they don't talk about things like that. I didn't even bother getting a Job. I didn't wanna start something I couldn't finish because of us moving. Maybe I'd get one after we do.
My parents were on vacation, and my brother was spending the week at his girlfriend's. As a result, the house would be all left to myself for a while.
Just then, Chloe stood up and stretched. "Chris just texted me, I'm gonna pick him up from work," she said, getting her stuff together and heading for the door. We all said goodbye, and then she closed the door behind her.
I felt really uncomfortable with Bailey and Izzy in the room without Chloe. Plus, Josh was still in the dadgum fridge. Izzy stared at me, locking on to Bailey as if he were her life source. I respected them both, and they were great friends of mine, but I felt like I didn't know them anymore.
Like I said earlier, they rarely came over. Rarely talked about their personal lives. I gave Izzy a warm smile, and she returned it, but much nervously. Bailey was looking on his phone, holding her close.
The way that Bailey shuffled on the couch made me realize that they were probably about to leave too. I loved having them here, but it was still kinda awkward. Bailey got up and said he was going home to take a nap, and waved me bye. Izzy clung on to his jacket, saying bye also. I told them both "See y'all later," while Josh smirked at Bailey and gave him a flirty grin. Bailey rolled his eyes, letting Izzy out and closing the door behind him. It was just me and Josh now.
"There's no food," I told him, laughing. "But I know what you can eat." He raised his eyebrows, giving me the "Oh shit what's she up to" Look. He walked to me, scratching his head. "What?" He said.

"Me."
