Please read 'je t'aime!' It gets the least views, but it's one of the funnest(is that a word?) to write!

I want to change this to a RomanoXOC instead of RomanoXReader so it evens out with the other fanfics. The OC's name is, after ten long minutes of decision making, Silvia. I'm going to change it from all of the other chapters, so feel free to reread them if you have to. No one's stopping you.

It might get a bit rated R...

"Sing the Delicious Tomato Song!" I demanded. "Come on, Lovino!"

"No!" the angry Italian retorted. "Leave me alone, Silvia!"

"Oh, lighten up, Feli," I teased. "You're so-" Suddenly, my cellphone started ringing on the table next to me. I reached over to answer it, but Lovino lunged forward and snatched it away from me.

"Ciao," he said into it. I face-palmed. Lovino turned to me. "Who's Daniel?"

"Um... He's..." I thought for a moment. How was I supposed to explain this to him? "He's my, um... friend?"

Lovino's eyes widened with realization. "Are you... Silvia's boyfriend?" he asked into the phone. After a moment, he turned back to me. "Silvia...?"

"Can I have my phone?" I asked. He handed it over, and I held it to my ear. "Sorry about that," I told Daniel, standing and walking out of the room. "That was just my guardian being stupid."

Daniel laughed. "I can't wait till I see you again," he said. "This weekend felt excruciatingly long."

"Yeah," I replied. "Maybe I could come to your house later?"

"I... don't know if that's a good idea," he replied. "My mom's sort of... over-protective."

"I know the feeling," I said. "Well, I guess you could come over sometime... wait. I can hear Lovino breathing on the other side of the door." I pulled it open, and the Italian fell forward, banging his head on the floor. "Lovino! What the hell do you want from my life?!"

I heard Daniel laugh on the other line. "Okay, I have got to meet this guy," he said. "can I come over later."

"sure," I sighed. "But be prepared for someone ranting in Italian." He laughed again.

"Okay, see you then," he paused before whispering, "I love you."

I smiled, and, covering my mouth so Lovino couldn't read my lips, whispered, "I love you too, Danny. See you later."

He hung up the phone, and I turned to see Lovino glaring at me. "What?"

"Why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend?!" he demanded. "And now he's coming over?!"

"I knew you would get upset," I replied. "So I didn't tell you. Is there a problem?"

"'Is there a problem?'" the Italian replied angrily. "Yeah, there's a problem, ragazza stupida! This goes against everythi-" he clamped his hands over his mouth before he could say any more.

"Goes against what?" I demanded. "What are you hiding, bastardo?"

"I've already said too much," he replied, standing and starting to retreat through the doorway. "Just... forget I said anything."

"No!" I shouted, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and tugging him down so his amber eyes were level with mine. "What are you hiding, Lovi?!"

He averted his eyes. "I can't tell you," he murmered. "Your father made me swear not to."

Dread filled me. My dad was the leader of our gang. If he was in on this secret, it must've been serious. I let Lovino slump to the floor and turned my back on him, crossing my arms over my chest.
