Chapter 8: Feelings

As the three names of performers were completed, they immediately began rehearsing for the press conference. Mira is obviously depressed not being on the list. To relieve this stress, she bought a lot of cakes on the canteen.

“Ah! Can you really eat those cakes?” Blizzard was astonished when he saw Mira with those foods.

“Of course I can,” Mira said after taking a bite from the chocolate cake.

On the other hand, Hannah bought two cupcakes and immediately went to their room.

Soon as she returned, she was asked by Suzy what did she do on the room. Hannah, at first, was hesitant to answer.

“If you will not answer me, I will kick you out of our house,” Suzy rudely said.

Hannah whispered it to Suzy and said, “I placed it on Lewis’ bag.”

Suzy was puzzled on her answer so she asked her if she is also one of those loyal fans of Lewis.

“It’s not what you think. I just want to thank him for what he did. He has already done four things for me,” Hannah said while her cheeks blush.

“First, he sang for me yesterday. Second, while I was entering the school, I fell and he helped me on getting in my knees. Third, he opened the door for me. And fourth, while he was performing a while ago, he was looking at me,” Hannah shared while she was giggling.

“I didn’t ask for that and now that I know, I don’t care.” Suzy snubbed her.

The conversation became cold but Blizzard broke the silence.

“I wonder what we will do this entire week. It seems our teachers are really busy on practicing the three of them.” Blizzard curiously said.

“How about ordering pizzas and a lot of cakes?” Mira exclaimed.

“But we don’t have the appetite and the money. What if let’s try to have a field trip?” Blizzard shared his idea.

“But we don’t have the time and the money. Let’s just watch the rehearsals and we might learn from it,” Hannah smiled.

“Watching those things would be very boring. But if you want to learn and don’t want to spend a cent, I know a place,” Suzy cunningly grinned.

Suzy brought them to the place she said and Mira first commented.

“The library? I think Hannah’s idea is good. Let’s just watch their practice. Perhaps, we could see Lewis,” Mira got excited.

Blizzard thought about their idea and he remembered Michael singing for Suzy so he replied, “I think it’s better to stay on the library. We can use the computers to watch videos.”

Hannah affirmed the idea and stayed on the library. After few hours, they got tired and went back to their room.

“Where did you go?” Alex strictly asked.

“We learned at the library,” Suzy replied with a blank face, again.

“So what did you learn?” Alex replied with her eyebrows rising.

“I learned on how trashy this school is,” Suzy answered.

Alex’s temper can’t be stopped anymore but Suzy continued to talk.

“Isn’t the truth? You cannot hide it from us anymore. This school is as junk as a school which is soon to be demolished and be sold for a high-rise condominium.” Suzy faced Alex eye to eye.
