Aiden's P.O.V.
"Why am I shaking so bad? I've never shaken this bad," I told my friend, Abby.
"I don't know. Maybe you are nervous? Are you nervous?" Abby questioned.
"No! I don't know! Maybe? But why would I be?" I started freaking out.
"Okay. First of all, you need to calm down. Second of all, when did you start shaking?"
I took a few deep breaths before answering, "Okay. Okay. I'm calm. Let's see. I started shaking on the first day, but of course, it's a new school year. I didn't start visibly shaking until sixth period. I even visibly shake when I walk pass her door now."
"Wait...Parker's door?" Abby asked. "Are you in love with her?"
"Yes? No? Maybe? I don't know. I'm confused," I sighed.
"Why?" Abby followed me into science class.
"I think...I'm...a...l-lesbian," I confessed.
"Do you have any attraction to certain girls?"
"Um...yes."
"What about guys?"
"Nope."
"Okay. I believe you. Just one thing: if you do have a crush on me, just tell me, and we'll work it out," She negotiated.
"Will you still be my friend?" I used my best puppy-dog face.
"Of course I will be. Nothing will change between us."
"Promise?" I held up my pinkie.
"Promise." She intertwined her pinkie with mine.
*Time Skip*
"So, even though I am a lesbian, you're okay with it?"
Abby laughed. "Of course I am okay with it. We are best friends. Best friends stick around no matter the cause."
I smiled. "Now, let's go to lunch. I'm starving!"
On the way to lunch, we saw Parker
"Look. Ms. Parker," my other best friend, Skylar, said and pointed to the teacher.
"Hello, girls." Parker waved at us and walked off.
My face became bright red. I thought my friends wouldn't notice, but I was wrong.
"Aw! Does Aiden have a cwush on Parker?" Abby teased.
"What? No," I scoffed.
"Are you sure?" Skylar pressed.
"Y-yes, I'm sure," I studdered.
"Aw! You do have a crush on Parker! That's so cute!" Abby exclaimed.
I didn't say anything because my face said it all.
"Aw! It's okay, Aiden. You can like her. We approve of her," Skylar teased. They both laughed.
"I hate you," I growled.
"No, you don't. You love us!"
"You're right: I do." I smiled.
"We know!" They exclaimed in unison.
