Walking through the doors with cables all wrapped around your arms you can't help but notice his gentle laugh while he was talking to a worker at the studio. You began day dreaming again about your future and what would happen after the show, if anything, until Audrie smacked you in the back of the head.
You let out an annoyed growl, "Ow! What was that for?"
"I told you to stop living in the future. Focus on the present because I don't want you to screw this up. If you're going to act like an over obsessed fan and act all crazy day dreamy around him then he's not going to want to spend any time with us. So cut it out. I'm just looking out for you that's all." Aurdie had a very serious stern look on her face as she was telling you this.
You took her words into consideration and realized that she was right. Scotty doesn't want to hang out with crazy over obsessed fans for more than a minute. You weren't like those fans though. You started thinking to yourself, talking to yourself in your head. 'Yeah, I know little facts about him that I'm sure not many people know besides obsessed fans but Idon't know every little detail about him. Like his birthday... Oh, just kidding. I know that. Okay, I don't know if he has any pets. Crap! I know that too. That's not my fault though. I blame interviews and twitter. Keep your cool Bridge.' You looked at Audrie with a smile, "You're right. You are absolutely correct and I'm not one of those fans. All I have to do is act like he's a long lost best friend i haven't seen in awhile. Piece of cake." You let out a sigh.
"You're doing good so far. You're being yourself, like face planting into the floor. Classic Bridget move." She let out a hard laugh and smacked you on the arm.
Your eyes were darted on Audrie as she was laughing so hard, "Haha! So not funny. That was so embarassing, Audrie." Not a smile cracked from your face.
"You're not acting like somebody you're not though and that's what he wants. He's around fake people all the time. Show him the real you and he'll love you. Now, let's go put these cables somewhere because my arms are starting to get tired." Audrie started walking ahead of you as you took her words to heart.
Audrie always said the right things at the right time. She could practically read your mind and know exactly what you're thinking without even asking you. It was kinda creepy but you guys have been friends for so long it never bothered you. You followed Audrie to the stage and set the cables by the drums and looked around aimlessly having no idea where to go now.
"Oh, girls! We've been looking for you. Can you come back to the lounge area. Scotty's back there looking for you guys." Mike, Scotty's tour manager, had said.
We nodded our heads and followed Mike back to the lounge area where we saw Scotty and Joey talking until Scotty noticed you guys walking in. He stopped talking and walked over to you guys.
"Where did you guys run off to? Once I was done talking with that worker I turned around and you guys were gone," Scotty said.
"Well, ya see. Audrie here is a bigger whimp than me and her arms were getting tired of carrying the cables so we took them to the stage. Hope that's where they were supposed to go. Sorry we just vanished." You looked from Audrie back to Scotty who had a releaved look on his face.
"I was just worried. I didn't want to lose you guys. Ya know, because I still have to give you some reward for helping me carry in stuff." You noticed he got red in the face and starting hesitating towards the end of his sentence.
Audrie spoke up, "And what might that reward be, mister?"
"I was thinking maybe dinner after my show and maybe you both could show me around the city?" His nervousness could be noticed from a mile away. He wasn't hiding it very well. You found it cute though.
