The old man sat in his rocking chair rocking back and forth. He lied there contemplating about his long and deep life. All 93 years of it. He remembered when he was a little kid in 1933 and he caught a ball at a baseball game. It was like the batter was aiming towards him because he almost got hit in the face by it. The only reason the ball didn't hit was because of his dad picking him up out of the way letting him catch it. He envisioned him getting hit in the face with the ball which made him chuckle. He remembered when he was 14 and he picked on a kid that he found out was a homosexual. If you can't tell he was a bully and one of the worst at his school at the time. The kid got a reputation after he beat the holy hell out of a kid that was 6'5 and played football. The old man himself never played sports and was always a guy that thought sports was a complete waste of time. Anyways the boy he bullied was for obvious reasons in the closet for a long time and was afraid to come out to anybody. He told a friend that he thought he could trust and he paid the price for it. This decision absolutely ruined his childhood thus leading to the hard and brutal beating. At first the old man was winning by kicking him in the ribs, pulling on the homo's hair, and punching his face in. After a brutal blow the homo was on his knees begging for him to stop. The old man remembered that younger him responded with "open wide then" which was a mistake because that was how he got his first broken bone. The faggot socked him hard in the face breaking his nose. He didn't even need to throw any more punches for everyone to leave him alone after everyone knew the homo could fight. "What was the kids name?" he thought to himself "I think it was Nick." Then he remembered the horrible names nick was tormented with. He was called everything in the book, a pansy, a faggot, a fairy, you name it. The old man himself referred to him as "Nick The Cock gobbler" but after the encounter he had with him, his new nickname was "Nick The Nose Breaker." They slowly became friends and Nick forgave the old man for his actions later in life. Eventually Nick found a boyfriend and the two stayed together until they both died of old age. That's what the old man would like to imagine but Nick disappeared without a trace after school ended. The old man always wished that he could talk to Nick once more but after going his entire life without seeing him made him realize that he probably wont get his wish unless a miracle happened.

The old man began thinking about how getting old really changes your view on things. He was an absolute piece of shit to people and had almost no empathy for other people and things. The worst act of violence he committed was when he nearly beat his next door neighbor to death calling him a "chink" when he was 25. He nearly got locked up for the hate crime but he thankfully managed to get a really good lawyer that got his ass out of the slammer. Thinking back on it he should have gone to prison and paid for his actions. The thought of his crimes that he never did the time for made him sick. He continued his atrocities up until he was in his mid 30's when he got bone cancer in both of his legs. Both of his legs had to be amputated to stop the cancer from spreading to the rest of his body. This entire ordeal changed his view on life and how other people should be treated. After this, he became a lot more sympathetic towards other people and ended up marching in one of Martin Luther King Jr's peaceful protests. For the rest of his life he was a promoter of love and peace which gained him some popularity in his small town. The old man sighed and had a glass of tea thinking back to the good days. Despite him doing some fucked up shit he actually kinda missed some of it. Like the beating people up part was bad but him having no filter and not being held back at all was really fun. He enjoyed this new life more though. The old man started thinking about whether or not he's accomplished all he's wanted in life. He thought to himself "Yeah I could die

Knock! Knock!

Suddenly all his thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.
