Cold gray light rippled over the floor of a room though it was so dark that most of it was lost in shadow. Near the back of the room crouched a frail young girl. Despite the darkness you could still make out her pale silver hair and red eyes. Her gaze traveled over the floor and stopped at a photo of a teenage girl with long teal pigtails, a gray sleeveless top, black skirt, and teal tie. “They will pay,” she whispered to herself. “No, she will pay.” The young girl picked up a knife that was lying beside her and stabbed it into the picture of the teen girl. After that moment the frail girl slunk back into the shadows and was lost in the darkness.
