ALL OF THIS IS STARTING IN THIRD YEAR.

I was so excited. Today was my first day of attending the most Known school for Witches and Wizards in the whole Wizarding world. Just up until last year I didn't even know what Hogwarts was, let alone what I was. So when I got a letter saying I was to attend Hogwarts this following September, I was ecstatic. So here I am now, staring at the wall of 9 1/3. Excitement leaving me as it dawned upon me that I had to run through a wall. I was quickly brought out of my thought's as I heard a women's voice shouting at some boys. I turn in time to see two boys who looked like identical twins, laughing as they ran past me into the wall, going through. My eyes widen and mouth gaps as they were truly gone and through the wall. "Dear? Are you going to stand there all day or go through?" A kind voice says from behind me. I turn to find it was the same women that was yelling earlier. "I-I..." I stuttered looking at her. "Oh my! I'm sorry. This must be your first time! Come here now. I'll show you." She said, grabbing onto my trolley. I nodded grabbing onto it as well. "Now. You are going to want a running start." I nod as we both take off running. I close my eyes as we were about to hit the wall. I open them when I didn't feel bricks against my face or my trolley crash. When they open, I saw a massive train and a bunch of people in robes saying goodbye to their parents or rushing onto the train. I stood there in awe before heading onto the train. I look around for an empty compartment but having no luck as to find all of them full but one. I peer inside shyly. The three people in there look at at me. There was two boys and a girl. "Hello" the girl responded to my staring. "U-uh...hi." I said, face flushing pink slightly. "Are you looking for a place to sit? If so, fell free." She said pointing to the spot beside her. I nod thanking her as I sit beside her. "My names Hermione Granger, and the one with glasses is Harry Potter and the other is Ron Weasley." She said holding her hand out to me. I shook it smiling to her. "N-nice to meet you all." "And what's your name if you don't mind me asking?" I pause for a second "(y/n), (y/n) Riddle." I stuttered out. They all seem to freeze. I was confused for a moment. "R-Riddle?" Ron managed to get out. I nod. "W-well, that's what my aunt told me my biological last name wa-was. What's s-so bad about it?" I questioned a bit. You see. I never knew my mom or dads names, or who they were. My aunt told me my mom just gave me to her when I was a baby. So therefore not understanding why they were so surprised, "So you don't know then (y/n)?" Harry asked. I shook my head no slowly. They looked relieved seeing as how I wasn't lying from the look on my face. "It's nothing. Just surprised to hear that someone has that last name," Hermione replied. I shrugged it off. We continued to talk. It was almost time for us to arrive at Hogwarts so we all got changed into our robes. Hermione suggested she could help me catch up in which I agreed.
We arrived at the school about an hour later. We rushed off the train and onto our rides to the school. Once in, I was put with the first years so I could be sorted. A few people had gone up and was sorted by the sorting hat. My name was called and as soon as I stepped up, whispering was heard throughout the room. I saw some victorious grins from some Slytherin's. I sat down and the hat was placed on my head. It took a few minutes before it shouted "Gryffindor!" Silence filled the room. Everyone was surprised. I heard a few Slytherin's say "A Riddle in Gryffindor?" or "What is going on?" I slowly raised, confused and headed to the quiet Gryffindor table. Everyone's eyes on me as I sat down. My face must have been really red from all the embarrassment. I wasn't used to this kind of attention. The rest of the day everyone was quiet around me.
I went to my room to settle down for the night. That is. Until my roommates came in. They looked at me and giggled. I had had enough. So I took my blanket and went to the empty common room. I sigh in relief as I wrap up in my blanket in front of the fire place watching it. I heard pairs of feet walk up behind me, but I payed no mind to it thinking it was just other's coming to "observe" me. Until I heard a familiar voice behind me. "(y/n)? What are you doing up?" I turn to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I turn back around and just shrug. They sat beside me staying quiet for a bit. Harry spoke up. "I know how it feels to get this kind of attention...well...close anyway." I looked at him confused. He explained to me what it was like his first year. I nodded on certain parts listening tentatively. After he explained, we all headed back to our rooms to sleep.
