After Lena and I got out of the shower, we walked into the bedroom and I helped her put on a clean bandage and helped her get dressed. I got dressed and then went to the bathroom to do my make up and brush my hair out and blow dry it. When I was done, I went to help Lena do the same.
Once we were all done and ready, I went and told the kids we were going to eat. I went back to our room to get Lena and we went walking to the stairs. I walked behind her, but moved in front of her on the stairs just in case she fell. We walked out to the car and I helped her get it. I went to the driver's side and got in.
After I buckled up, I asked Lena where she wanted to go eat.
"Oh anywhere good is fine."
"Alright. Mc Donald's it is," I looked at her as I said this and her facial expression was priceless. It was a "are you serious woman? You could just bring that to me, but no. Ew." look.
"Lena, I'm kidding," I said as I turned the car on and put it in reverse.
We didn't talk much for the whole ride. We ended up going to a deli and getting 'fancy' sandwiches. It was really good, though. After eating, we got back in the car and drove home.
The next morning, we went to the school to talk to Monte
