Aria
I looked out the window of the car watching all the houses pass by. I was tired I was hungry and I was late for school. I sighed as I felt the two pairs of rainbow eyes looking at me in the rearview mirror. I sighed again.
"Anything wrong Aria?," My white step sister asked me. I looked at her eyes in the rearview mirror her dark green eyes; one lighter then the other looking back at me with concern. I huffed. "I'm fine you should keep your eyes on the road." She sighed but didn't say anything else.
"Well some ones got a pole up their ass this morning." I heard my other step sibling Keith mumble. I scoffed at his remark. "Mind your own business, I retorted."
"Well uh maybe instead of being so moody all the time, maybe you should just shut the hell up and realize that Gina didn't have to give you a ride this morning." He snapped back after turning around in his seat. His dark and light blue eyes showing how irritated he was.
"Okay both of you stop it," Gina growled her focus on the road faltering for a second to make sure Keith sat back down. She sighed. "I understand that this change is different and particularly difficult for both of you to deal with. But you're going to have to learn to live with and love each other because our parents love each other and none of your pissy attitudes or bitching will cause them to break up."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."
I heard Keith huff in the passenger seat as my stomach began growling lowly. Note to self: never skip breakfast for the sake of education EVER again. I gathered myself as we pulled up to the school.
"See ya later G," Keith said to his sister.
"Thanks for the ride Regina," I mumbled as I exited the car. Keith scowled at me. Ok call me petty but I wasn't warming up to her just yet.
Just because our parents are getting married doesn't mean that they can replace the sibling I lost or my mother. I quickly shook off the grief on my chest, took a deep breath and shuffled my way to my second period class._______________________________
Author's Note
Ok about Keith an Regina's eye colors its based off a disease that gives you two different eye colors. But that looks pretty fricking weird so I just made it two shades of the same colors to make it more normal.
