Jacob's POV (I forgot the name of the character for a sec and I had to re-read the description)
I stood outside, staring up at the house that I've lived in my whole life. My mom was behind me, putting boxes of our stuff into the truck. I look at the window of my bedroom, well my old room, and sigh. This is the only place I've known since I was born.
Everything was fine. I had good grades at my school, I had a girlfriend, who I honestly was gonna dump anyway, and I was a football (soccer) player. Then, all of sudden, my mom decided that we needed a "change of scenery". So now we're moving to America, away from our home in England.
I sigh again and walk towards my mom. "Need help mom?" I asked. She looked up and smiled. "No thanks sweetie, I'm almost done." I nod and turn back to the house. I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry hun, you'll like the new house. Plus, you get to make some new friends!" I mentally rolled my eyes. It's always weird how parents always try to sound positive about things. They should know that a cheery voice and some positive attitude don't change the situation. I opened the front door of the car and climbed in, quickly putting my headphones on and turning the volume to full blast. I looked over to see my mom slide in the drivers seat.
We pulled out of the driveway, away from the house. I turned in my seat and  waved goodbye until it was out of sight. I faced forward and sunk lower in my seat. This is gonna be a long trip.

(Hai, name's Aj. Sorry if I'm not the BEST writer ever (at all) but I'm trying. I'll try to make the chapters longer tho, so yea. See ya next chappie!)
