My dad and I haven't talked in 4 days. And I still don't plan on starting up again. If I'm just seeing all this stuff for the first time, what have I been missing out on before I was born? I had just gotten Big Belly Burger to-go, and handed one of the bags to Cisco, one to Catlin, one to Jessie, one to Wally, one to Mom, and one to Isaiah. "Did you buy me any one of those?" Dad asked. "I'm sorry, did you save a life or did you almost end one?" I asked him back. Dad rolled his eyes and looked at his phone. We all just ate in silence. Catlin broke the silence by saying, "Do, Adam, how's school been going?" I waited for a moment. Then I said, "It's good, I'm getting A's. No thanks to some people." I said looking at Dad. Dad looked back at me with an upset look on his face. Then he looked back at his phone. "Good." Catlin said. We all went back to eating. "Excuse me?" A voice said. We all turned to the voice. It was a tall man. He looked about 35 years old. "Who are you?" Wally asked. "I called him." I said. "My name is Scott Williams. I work for the government. I'm here because Adam wants to make a deal with you." The man said. "What deal?" Dad asked. "It states:  By signing this contract, you allow Sonic Boom to tell you when to at least tone it down a little." Scott said. "What, no!" Dad said.  "Sorry Dad, but I won't watch you hurt any other people." Dad scratched his head. "No, I won't sign it." Dad said. "I don't care, you have no choice, it's either this..." I got in his face. "Or we fight to see if you sign it or not." Dad stood up. "Okay, let's fight. You assemble your team, and I'll assemble mine. Deal?" He asked. He raised out his hand for me to shake. "Deal." I said shaking his hand.
