One Direction- The Girl In The Band

**Harry POV**

As she finished singing, I couldn't believe what I just heard. She was perfect for the band. I think the lads agreed with me, because we all gave her a standing ovation for her talent.

"Can you give us a moment, Love?" Zayn said. She nodded and slowly walked out.

The second the door closed, I spoke up.

"I like her. Let's hire her!"

"Calm down there, curly," Louis said, holding his hands out to stop me, "what do you boys think? I think we've found our girl."

"I agree. She's got talent, looks, seems like she can make a good impression on the fans." Liam agreed.

"What Liam said!" Niall said, finishing the last of his Nando's. I will never understand how that boy can eat so much. I swear it scares me sometimes.

"Yeah, she can be a good example for others. Polite, charming, seems funny; and think about it, her voice mixed with ours would be amazing! I think it's a yes." Zayn stated.

"Well, lads. Should we go meet the newest member of One Direction?" Liam said.

We all nod and walk out.

Niall grabs her wrist. "Katie?"

She turns and looks at us. We look at each other, and nod.

"Welcome to One Direction!" We all say in usion. She looks so surprised, almost like she would start crying tears of joy. We all engulf her in a massive group hug. I can feel her trembling. She must be so excited, yet so nervous.

**Katie POV**

Did I just hear correctly? I'm the newest member of One Direction? No way! Holy mother of Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger with cheese, I'm so happy I'm about to cry! Before I can do anything, I'm pulled into a huge group hug with the boys- my new family for the next God knows how many years. I'm shaking holy crap.

They let go, and Louis is the first to speak.

"So, Katie. Since you are new to the band, there are somethings you need to know about us. 1. We will pull pranks at any given point, so be prepared for a cannonball going off in the shower, or your pop exploding in your face. 2. We take music very seriously, but life is just a game to us. 3. Niall eats a lot. If you buy food on tour, hide it in the out of the ordinary places, because he WILL find it and eat it. 6. If you have any problems- whether it's guy troubles, personal struggles, or fashion advice even- you can come to us, and we won't hesitate to help. Really though, if a guy is bugging you and won't leave you alone, get one of us, or Paul, and we will get him to stop. You're our new, little sister now, and we want the best for you. We are here for you to rely on, and only want the best for you. Please, if you have anything bugging you, just tell us. We are very open with things. For example, Niall will fart in his sleep. It's best not to share a bunk or room with him. So, please, just don't hesitate to tell us anything on your mind." As he spoke, I listened to every word, laughing at the pranks, and the parts he used Niall as examples. I really hope I can trust them. Once they earn it, they will gain it.

"Alright. So what I've learned is watch my back around you, don't mess around with music, otherwise it's YOLOSWAG, hide all special food from Niall, go to you, the boys, and Paul if I have struggles and be open, beware of Niall's farts, and to say anything on my mind. Am I right?" I sum up my lesson in few words.

"You're a better listener than I thought. You are right, that's the 'One Direction' we go in." Liam replies with a wink. I giggle at his remark.

"Thank you guys. I won't let you down. I know I can trust you." I say with a smile. With that, we left through the back exit and go into the tour bus. This is only the beginning.
