My lungs burned. My skin felt like spiders were crawling into it. My ankle was sprained and I had broken ribs. I felt every ounce of pain as I forced my self to run. I felt the force of my life fade second by second. The howls from my father about 30 yards away. I ran faster, I found a lake. I tried to swim, the lake was cold. The sleet and ice that fell from the sky made the water feel like I was swimming in razor blades. I started to faint. I through my aching body onto the shore. I dragged myself behind a log. I layers down, bloodied and broken. I saw the world go black as I fell unconscious.

Seth's POV

I decided to go for a walk. My girlfriend just cheated on me. I lost the only person I ever loved. I grabbed my ex girlfriends stuff and bagged it up. I marched away from my house to the lake and forest. I decided I was gonna toss her stuff in the lake.

Once I reached the woods a man that was out of breath and angry turned to me.

"Hey you little emo fag, if you see my emo slut of a daughter bring her to me." He stunk of alcohol. I almost puked at the stench. I just turned and started running through the forest. I made it to the lake when somehow caught my eye. It was some (your hair color) covered in leaves and mud. I ran around the tip of the lake. Arriving at the girl. She was missing a shoe. She had makeup and tears streaming down her face. Her hair was knotted and caked with mud. I reached down and tried to pick her up. She was covered in blood, I tried to be gentle but she woke up screaming. She punched me and hit me, I calmed her down and offered to get her help. She just feel back into a deep sleep.

I picked her up and wrapped her in whatever clothes I had from my ex. I moved along back to my house as quick as possible.

Time skip

I set her on the couch and set to fixing her ankle. I ran and grabbed the med kit. She winced slightly each time I moved it or angled it different.

I picked her up and moved towards the tub. I set her down in the bathroom then immediately realized. Wait she is a lady and doing that will make her mad.

I fumbled with my phone and dialed up my sister. She said she would be over in a few minutes. I wiped some of the dirt away from her wounds. She was breathing strangely so I thought it was weird.

I heard the door fly open and my sister march in. She dropped her stuff and sprinted up the steps to the bathroom.

She saw the girl and her eyes widened in shock. My sister grabbed me by the collar and through me out the door.

***** POV

I set to slowly undress the girl. I removed her shirt and what was left of her pants, leaving on her bra and underwear. I picked her up (with some struggle) and set her in the tub. She had a bruise by her ribs. When I went to touch the area, to see if she had feeling for it. She had no rib. She completely obliterated her rib. (You and Andy are twinning now) She felt nothing.

Once the water hit her eyes flew open and she turned to me. She kinda smirked before her face contorted into confusion.

"Dearest, call me Jane. I am Seth's sister." I said while scrubbing the girls hair.

"I am (Y/n). Who is Seth?" She tilted her head toward me. I giggled and told her most of what I know. Seth explained about the whole father thing but I decided to keep that to my self for now.

"He is the boy who found me in the woods. Ummm, Jane why was I in the woods." I bit my lip.

"I am not sure, maybe Seth knows." I lied. This girl witnessed something horrible and I don't want to make it worse right now.

She tried to stand only to fall back down. I helped her out of the tub and into a clean set of clothes I brought from home.

She smirked at the (your favorite band tee shirt). I giggled and wrapped her arm around my shoulder and we walked down stairs.

I set her on the couch next to Seth and she hugged him.

"Thank you Seth... I think your awesome." Seth blushed a little but I acted like I saw nothing.

Time Skips to about a Month

Readers POV

It has been about a month since I moved in with Seth. My father was killed an the way home from chasing me the one night. He was hit by a car. Though it is a little fuzzy as to what really happened I will always remember Seth. Jane, God I love her she is like the sister I never had.

Seth and I have been together for about 2 weeks. I am recovered from such a horrible event, and I found what people call the light at the end of the tunnel.

Okay everyone that is another chapter... This one has been under construction for months. I kept on making mistakes.

I am feeling a bit bummed out so I decided to write my feelings. The next chapters are going to be fluffy and happy and sad and lonely. Don't hate me for it I am just, I am in love with someone and they like me back we are just to afraid to fall entirely because we both don't want to hit the ground because we jumped into a relationship without knowing what could happen.
