"Would you ever quit smoking?" You ask George. Ever since you and George have been together, he has smoked every day. Your grandpa died of lung cancer when you were young so you know how bad it is for you as he was a constant smoker.

George looks at you strangely, not knowing where it's coming from, honestly, you didn't even know where it was coming from. "What are you talking about?" He asks, confusion filling his emotion.

"Well its just that my grandpa died from smoking and I don't want us to have kids and you develop some sort of disease in 20 years time." You tell him, wanting the realisation to hit him that it hurts you thinking about him getting hurt.

"Baby, cigarettes help me with my stress, I know it's very important for us both for me to give up but the thing is is you don't understand an addiction." What he is saying is such a powerful thing.

"But I do know an addiction....I'm addicted to you." You reply, moving away from him. He follows you into the kitchen as you wipe your tears away. He grabs your waist and spins you round.

"My babe, honestly it's hard to get rid of such a heavy addiction and I know that this conversation is for my own good, I'll go to counselling and get rid of such a dirty addiction, I promise you."
