The sun is hidden behind the clouds. The sky is a blackish-grey. The air is heavy, almost unbreathable. Small drops of water fall from the sky, as if even the universe is crying.
A girl, about sixteen years of age, sits in a car, her gaze unfocused. Her short brown hair falls in front of her eyes. They match the sky, small droplets of water falling every now and again.
The car drives in the same direction for what seems like forever. The road never stops. Why continue driving? What is the point? You know your destination, but when will you reach it?
No one knows.
