Percy's POV

It was the perfect plan, and if everything went well, Christmas Eve would be the happiest day of my life. All of te Seven, including Nico, Will, and Reyna had planned a Christmas Eve party to have on Christmas Eve at my and Annabeth's apartment in New Rome. We were going to have dinner, and have a Secret Santa gift exchange. A few weeks earlier, we had drawn the people we were to give gifts to from a hat. I got Nico, and I figured out from my bro Jason that Piper got Annabeth.

I had been wanting to propose to Annabeth for quite some time now, I was just waiting for the right time to really suprise her, and I had to figure out just exactly HOW to do it.

I bought my gift for Nico, and wrapped it, the day of the party, then aided Annabeth is cleaning our apartment and cooking dinner. However, I was NOT allowed to "accidentally" slip any blue food coloring into the food. I had been trying to hide my plan from Wise Girl, and I hoped she wasn't suspicious. I guess only the gods know.

Once the party started and everyone got there, we ate dinner. First, however, we toasted the gods, with me yelling afterwards, " ALRIGHT, PASS THE BLUE WAFFLES RIGHT HERE!" But it was very difficult to not let anything slip about the plan. Not only did I want it to be a surprise for Annabeth, it also had to be a surprise for everyone else. Jason sensed something was up, so he asked me about it.

"Percy, bro, what's up? You have been acting strange. Like stranger than when you were possessed and tried to kill me."

"Nothing, really." I paused, considering whether or not to tell Jason. I decided quickly that I should. "Ya know, I wasn't going to tell anyone about this, but what the Hades, I will let you in on my little secret." I proceeded, telling him my entire plan. He smiled at me and nodded, listening intently.

After I had finished, speaking quietly so no one would hear us, he said,"Percy, dude, can you help me plan my proposal? You are like literally the best boyfriend in all of history." We both chuckled, then continued eating in silence.

After she noticed that everyone was done eating, Piper stood up on her chair, and announced, "Everyone, it is time for Secret Santa! Please head into the living room and find a seat!" She scanned up and down the table, then when her eyes landed on me, she winked inconspicuously. I smiled back and muttered under my breath, "Phase One, Action."

We all were herded into the living room by Piper, sitting in a semi-circle. I plopped down on the couch, that was, you guessed it, blue. Can you guess who picked it out? Annabeth laid down on the couch with me, placing her head on my lap. I twirled her hair on my fingers and smiled. I really wanted my plan to go as I wanted it to. I wanted to sit around like this with her for the rest of my life.

"Okay everyone!" Piper exclaimed loudly. " We are going to pass around the presents, and when you get the one with your name on it, hold onto it, but don't open it yet. Once everyone recieves their presents, we will open them one by one, starting with Nico, then Will, and ending with Percy and Annabeth."

We passed out presents, and even though we weren't supposed to open them yet, we all shook them vigourously, trying to figure out what we had gotten. Nico ripped his open. I had given him a necklace, a silver chain with a skull attached.

"Thanks Perce, I will add it to my collection!" He stated sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Everyone laughed. One by one, we opened our presents, thanking whoever had given them to us. Eventually, it was my turn. I ripped open an envelope, to find 2 one way tickets to Manhattan, from Annabeth.

"Thanks Wise Girl! Now we can spend New Years with my new sister!" I was so pumped, especially since I had not gotten the chance to play with my new baby sister yet, and it seemed as though I hadn't seen Paul and my mom forever.

"Your welcome Seaweed Brain. I love you." She sat up, lifting her blonde princess curls off of my lap. She leaned in giving me a hug. "Now, last but not least, me!" she said, a little tiredly, but with a hint of curiosity and excitement. She read her card that was on the outside of the box out loud.

" Merry Christmas Annie! Love, Piper.

Thanks Pipes!" she exclaimed before hurriedly ripping open the blue and gray wrapping paper, only to see a large carboard box. She also opened that, to find yet another cardboard box. In total, she opened 12 boxes, but what she didn't notice was that each box had a letter written on top. Everyone else, however noticed this, also seeing that these letters spelled out:

W-i-l-l    y-o-u   m-a-r-r-y   m-e-?

But my Wise Girl didn't see it. With a sigh, she opened the 12th box to find a small, blue velvet case with a folded note taped on top. She opened it, smoothed it out, and read:

"Merry Christmas Wise Girl! I am very bad at proposals. Will you marry me?"

She opened the box, finding a silver ring with a delicate blue sea-stone,  tucked inside. A bright smile spread across her face as she looked across the room, finding everyone else smiling, just as surprised as she was. As she did this, she also noticed the letters on the boxes. Then, when she turned to look at me, I felt my face get very red, waiting for an answer from her.

"Of course I will marry you, Percy. But couldn't you have used a FEW less boxes?!"

Then it was my turn to grin. She leaned in, kissing me right on the lips, and I kissed her back....... until, several seconds later, we were interrupted.

"Dude, whens the wedding?" Leo yelled. "Cause this Super-Sized McShizzle is ready to break out some hot dance moves! And then when you have kids, I am going to definitely be the godfather, right? You have my personal permission to name your first-born after me, of course."

Everyone had to laugh at Leo, even Nico. Sometimes he could be a bit much, but we he wasn't, ya know, ACTUALLY dead and all. For a while, everyone just sat around the Christmas tree, snuggling with their other half, and enjoying one anothers company. After a while of beautiful silence, Annabeth, still in my arms, looked up at me, her stormy gray eyes flickering with the reflection of the christmas lights on our tree.

"Merry Christmas Seaweed Brain. I love you."

"I love you too Wise Girl. As long as we are together, right?"

With a sigh of remembrance she said, " You're not getting away from me that easily."
