Grim reapers. We are not seen by the naked eye. We guide new spirits to heaven or hell.
Trust me, it it not an easy job. There is always something wrong to them, and it's hard to sort out whatever they problem.
Honestly, the humans should be thanking us. If it weren't for grim reapers, they would just be spirits that float around on earth.
Currently, I was ready to guide a new spirit to heaven... or hell. It depends on their intents. I jumped down from the tree where I viewed the person that was currently near death.
I walked over to him, where he lied in a pool of blood. Honestly, humans are disgusting and bloodthirsty. My eyes glanced over at his face, where he was withering in pain.
Oh well, might as well get it on with it. I gripped my scythe before poking him in the back with the none sharp side, before bringing it back up slowly, dragging his spirit along with it.
Yes, it was that simple. As soon as I had done that, I noticed two other humans running over to him. One a girl and the other a guy.
That's probably what those humans called his teammates. I turned back my attention to the spirit in front of me, who was currently opening his eyes.
Finally. Humans take so long to wake up compared to other living creatures. "Huh? W-Where am I?" the man stuttered before he noticed me standing before him. He pointed at me shouting "Who are you!?" which I wanted to scoff at. "You don't need to know that." I replied blankly, my voice made it sound like I had no emotions whatsoever. "All that matters is that you are dead." I then added, pointing over to his lifeless body where his girl teammate lied cry in on his chest, ignoring the blood that surrounded her needs.
Of course, it was raining. Honestly, humans are so dramatic. Death is unstoppable, and they know it will happen, so why do they cry? Human emotions are so confusing.
Anyway.
The spirit's eyes widened at the sight of his dead body, and his teammates crying over him. "I-I'm dead?" he stuttered in disbelief. I only nodded silently, letting him do whatever to get over the shock of death.
"Oh my kami, I'm dead!" he shouted in disbelief. I rolled my eyes. What? People do say I'm one of the cruelest grim reapers.
I sighed, before walking over to where he was currently kneeling. He turned to me, facing his heart to me, which would make my job easier. zip samples touched his heart, and he froze.
It was then that I was transferred to a seemingly dark place. This was his mind. I turned my head over to where all of a human's memories usually showed.
He had a relatively normal life for a human, he was apparently a member of the Hyuga clan, an important clan to the humans.
Even then, he was not anything special. His memories soon flickered off, like an old movie camera, which told me that I needed to leave. I willed myself to let go of his heart, soon finding myself back on Earth, the usual place.
That did not matter. All that mattered was that there was another grim reaper nearby. That was not good.
I would have to finish my job quickly.

So, how was it? A lot better then how I used to write? Also, cliffhanger of doom. XD
