"Let yourself move to the next chapter in life when the time comes. Don't remain stuck on the same page."

The stars shine so bright that it can make me forget all the memories of him that keeps me bothered everytime he passes through my mind.

"Hey!" a voice calling me from behind. I took a glance and it was Ice, my cousin.

"Hi!" I replied looking at him while he sits beside me.

"So... You're bored?" I nodded

"Same."

He's bored?!?!? It's the first time he told he is bored since he always play computer games and talking to his girlfriend that makes him always busy.

"oh." I said in a low voice.

From my Indian sitting position, I folded my legs and hug it in front of me. I looked at the stars above and made me think of someone I should forget.

Tears run through my cheeks. Ice offers me his handkerchief and I showed mine.

"No, Thanks" I wiped my tears away. Why am I so dramatic? I hate my tears! They always fall even though I don't need to.

"Do you want to share something? I'm a good listener." I looked at Ice and he's brown eyes met mine. He's dimples went out when he give me a closed mouth smile.

"I have nothing to tell." I told him and I just look at the stars again.

Actually, I have many stories to tell him, but I can't. I don't want him to know my freaking sad love story. He might tell anybody. I don't trust him with that thing.

"Okay." he replied. He took his phone off and check the messages he might be waiting for his girlfriend text but he got nothing. You can call me a bad girl 'cause I looked at his phone. I lost his privacy.

"What's her name again?" I asked referring to his girlfriend.

"Chloe." he answered with a sad voice. "Can I ask you something? I need an opinion."

"Sure. What is it?"

"Why do girls ignore boys?" we stared at each other's eyes and that's when the question sinks in in my head.

It's because she hates him?

Because she don't like him anymore?

Because she....

Because she want you to apologize to her.

I can't tell him my answers he might think where did I have those answers.

"uhmm... Well... Actually... I don't know. Any story behind that question?"

"A long story."

"I can take the eternity just to discuss about that. I promise I'll help you with that." I gave him a closed mouth smile as I move my body facing him.

"Wohh!! That was the longest sentence you utter this summer!" he said with a wide smile.

"yeah. You're the only one who heard that."

We both looked at the stars. Silence surrounds us.

He took a sigh and broke the silence. "you can't take the eternity."

"Why not?" I asked giving him a pout.

"Because you're going home tomorrow, right?"

Damn! Why? The whole summer is Boring and for my last day in here, that's when I feel comfortable that makes me wanna stay with Ice and talk to him for a lifetime!

"I'll tell you next time." he tapped my shoulders and stood up leaving me sitting on the grass.

I will miss my cousin, Ice and this place where the sky is clear and the stars shine so bright.
