The Calm Walk

"Ugh!" I said as I slowly pushed my aching body off of the floor. Or at least what felt like a floor. "Are you okay?" I heard Claire ask from afar. "Yeah!" I yelled back. We caught up to each other and started walking. "Why am I here?" I ask Claire. "I don't know" she said cheerfully. "You changed in mere seconds, what's making you so happy?" I asked. "I've been trapped in that room for what felt like thousands of years. I was never hungry, never thirsty, just trapped. I'm so much happier to be fr-" a siren started to sound. This wasn't good. "Run?" I ask panicked. "Run" she answered nervously. We ran for what felt like forever. Finally we found a room we could hide in. We slammed the door shut and saw what seemed to be machanical people. "Who the hell are they?" We ask each other simultaneously. We looked around at where we were hiding. It was interesting to say the least. Imagine a normal room, but upside down. Without warning gravity switched. We were now in a completely normal room. We sat down and sighed. I felt like this was about to get very interesting.
