This street is completely crazy

Strangers in between people

Every moment that we're together like boom boom boom boom boom

What up

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Walking on the familiar path Misty found herself excited, cause it was Ash's 18 birthday and finally he was going to become an adult.
This was very surprising and scary too, cause it felt like just a few days ago they were all 10, playing with each other then suddenly they were all teenagers and then adults, funny how we all must grow up someday, leave our family and friends in order to start our own life where we have to find a suitable job, a new house, a new partner and then start a new family.
But beginning something new doesn't always mean we have to forget our previous ones.
                            Standing in front of the entrance gate, Misty opened it and went towards the lawn where the party was going on as soon as she had entered, everywhere she looked there were people and not a vacant space was left; some were her friends, relatives and others whom she didn't know when she searched for the birthday boy her eyes went to the food section, 'Why am I not surprised?', she thought because lo and behold! There sitting comfortably on a chair while stuffing his face like he hadn't eaten for the last 17 years of his life was our good ol' Ash Ketchum.
Sighing she made her way towards him, only to be hugged by someone with dark spiky hair and tan skin when she looked at the person she squealed happily and returned the hug with much more affection. "Brock! How are you? And how's Suzie?" Misty asked Brock, her kind-of-elder brother and parent because when they were little he used to care for Misty like a little sister and had always helped, supported and advised her in any circumstances plus he was the concerned and caring type of person for everyone. "Hey, Mist! I am fine and Suzie's good too. She's probably with Mrs. Ketchum and Pro. Oak right now. If you want to meet her she's in there" he pointed inside the house in the dining room where many people were sitting and talking she smiled and thanked him while making her way towards the birthday boy again.
                                         At last after reuniting with millions of people who Misty never thought would be able to meet again, found Ash still sitting there now with a soft-drink in his hand. "Hey Ash!" he turned his head towards the direction in which his name was called and saw Misty his oldest childhood-friend and an older sister who had moved to Cerulean Town due to her father's military job but sometimes on occasions came to meet him and his family, was walking towards him in a cute blue knee-length dress and white half-jacket with silver heels on, her hair was open and slightly curled which made her look super adorable and beautiful. He smiled brightly standing up from his chair, went towards her and hugged her tightly as he missed her dearly, "Happy Birthday! Little brother" she said making him grin his usual goofy-grin which all of his family and friends had become familiar with and loved, replied "Thanks but I am not 'LITTLE' anymore cause I am a man now!" he said proudly while puffing out his chest in manly-pride but just got a playful poke on his chest which caused him to puff out his chest and rub on the part where she had poked, pouting he said, "Hmmph does anyone hit the birthday boy on their birthday" as he pretended to be hurt, laughing lightly she said, "Aww but if the birthday boy gets a bit arrogant and egotistic then someone has to make him understand. In this case due to my responsibility as an elder sister I HAD to stop my little brother from turning into a Manly-maniac right?" chuckling he nodded his head then he led her towards the table where he was sitting and pulled out the chair for her making her say, "Wow~ Since when did my little brother become such a gentleman oh wait the time he became an adult, chivalry suddenly started flowing out of him right?" she asked wriggling both her eyebrows which made Ash feel very embarrassed, "Aggh OK OK I got it, so please stop already", he said in a shy voice, amused at his actions Misty raised her eyebrows and smiled at him.
Suddenly they both heard some loud screams and squeals coming from the entrance as they turned their heads towards the commotion, a whole crowd of girls were surrounding a body with straight-spiky mahogany hair and dark-green eyes wearing a black jacket over a white-tee, black denim jeans, a pair of blue-white Reebok shoes and his hands carrying what seemed like a small box wrapped in decorative paper confirming that it was a gift. Both of them rolled their eyes  when they saw the person causing the uproar among the female-population present in the party.
          The young lad with the gift started to walk in the birthday boy's direction thinking, 'Seriously, that's why I hate this kind of party' , sighing disdainfully in his mind. He let his gaze travel towards the table, only to witness a pretty friendly or dare he say romantic conversation going on between two very special friends. He always thought that these two had a crush on one another, the way they talked and behaved it seriously gave him the idea of them being more than friends but he didn't give a damn about it because well he didn't have any business in their whatever relationship it was. Standing in front of their table, Gary said, "Yo! Happy birthday Ash. You are now officially in the list of being a mature adult" handing the wrapped box to Ash. "Thanks Gary! And yeah I am" Ash grinned in a boyish manner and started to unwrap his gift while he was distracted in finding out what was inside, Gary looked at Misty who looked back at him with a surprised expression, "Hey", he replied "Hey".
"So, what's up?" she smiled a little trying to break the awkward silence  between them, realizing what she was doing he smiled back politely and said, "Uhh as of right now, nothing. Just waiting for my PhD certificate, what about you?"
"Me? I am going to be releasing a new album and an OST for the new upcoming movie" answered Misty while nodding her head once.
"Oh, is that so? Good luck to you" wished Gary and Misty thanked him as well as wishing him too.
"Woah!!" Both of them sprang their heads to the exclamation let out by none other than Mr. Birthday boy or man himself. Looking at the star-eyed Ash, they let out a humorous laughter "What?" Ash asked with a genuinely innocent and curious look on his face.  "Nothing" they said in unison and then looked at each other, once again laughing. "Whatever. I am going to test this baby, so bye" Ash bid them farewell and went to ride the bike gifted by The Oaks with the key and an instruction pamphlet in his hand.
"My god! He doesn't know, does he?" Misty asked Gary and he replied by shaking his head which meant no.
And there outside the Ketchum's gate was the birthday boy/man with only two words going on in his mind, 'What the...?'.
