Mari x Reader (Roleplay)

The Roleplay Wedding (Part 1)

I stood amidst the sand and sea. This was my second year anniversary with Mari and we get stuck on a deserted island. At first I was mad at him, it was his fault after all why the boat left us. Sure, looking at wild animals is a kinda good excuse but still, we have no food, shelter, nothing. 

"(insert name), I'm so sorry," he said "I can make it up with you don't worry."

Of course we argued for a bit, but he gave me a hug and a kiss and all was better. Lucky for us he knew survival tips (AUTHOR'S NOTE: NO I DO NOT KNOW SQUAT SHIT ABOUT SURVIVING IN THE WILD). Mari built us a tiny roof made of palm leaves, with sticks supporting it. We had fire, and we ate dinner with the fish we caught. 

This was our second night. For the whole day Mari was gone, said he went looking for fruits and stuff. Before sunset he came back.

"Hey" Mari said. He hug me and said "Come, follow me I wanna show you something"

He had this twinkle in his eyes and I knew something good was gonna happen, it always has when he does that. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up, leading me into the forest. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Shhhh, it's a surprise. I know you'll love it". Mari gave me a smile, his gorgeous, natural smile he doesn't notice he has. We trekked for a while, holding hands while crossing the cool forest. 

We reached this clearing filled with flowers. It spreads throughout the floor except for the sand walk way, with a bush archway with flowers on it as it's entrance. It leads to the center of the clearing, which has a roof made of leaves and branches, with flower vines growing around the supports. Torches (I have no idea where he got it) lit the walk way and the center. 

"Mari, this is amazing!" I exclaimed. I turned and saw him holding a bouquet of (your favorite flowers). He handed them to me and I took it, looking from the flowers to him. "You know me too well" I said. He laughed and said "Of course I do, I love you and I should at least know your favorite things."

"You BETTER know"

We laughed and at that point Mari pulled out a small coconut. "You know how I love roleplay right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Well, let's do some roleplay. But even though it's just roleplay, what I'm about to say is from my heart." I was confused for a moment until he knelt down and held my hands.
