She's dead. And yet, there's a cackle sounding through the room.

"Delightful! A wonderful death and a fabulous attempt to survive by our first murderer! That was FANTASTIC!" Monokuma interrupted the horrific silence. He was clearly overjoyed by the events that had just occured. The death of one of us...

"WHY IS IT DELIGHTFUL?! SHE'S DEAD!" Millie screamed, clenching her fists. I was worried she would try and attack Monokuma like Maya had, that would not end well. Gaby had curled up into a tiny ball halfway through the execution, rocking back and forth and unable to do anything else. I honestly couldn't blame her, what we just witnessed was definitely traumatic.

Monokuma just giggled in response, covering his mouth with his paws until he began to chatter on again, "Now then! Due to your glorious victory and you guys getting to live for a few more days, I have opened up the second floor for you to explore! There are new facilities waiting for you and a ton more fun for you to have in our despair-inducing killing game!"

And with that, he was gone. A new floor, new facilities, despair-inducing killing game. Gee, thanks for reminding us what we're in, I almost forgot. I guess we should look around...

"We should have a look around the new floor, might as well familiarise ourselves with the new stuff that's open to us now." Rachel suggested, adjusting the strap on the case of her bass guitar. We all agreed to this, since I'm sure there's plenty of new rooms to familiarise ourselves with.

Having a look around, we found:

- A library

- A stage

- Dressing rooms leading into the stage

- Toilets for boys and girls (Not that we need the one for boys, anyway.)

- A nurse's office

A pretty useful selection of rooms, the discovery of the stage had excited almost all of us, especially Anya for obvious reasons. The stage also had a selection of props such as swords, shields and other plastic weaponry. However, we found some of them could possibly be used as an actual weapon which was quite worrying. At least we had some more ways to entertain ourselves.

Ding dong ding dong.

"Attention students! It is now 10PM, so nighttime is now is now in effect. Some rooms may become unavailable, so please return to your domitories!" Monokuma chirped through the monitors, we all headed back as one large group to the dormitory area.

The next morning, I didn't really do much. Woken up by the same annoucement as usual - I talked to a few people such as Anya, Grace, Hannah, Alice and Mackenzie and many of us had noticed how Rachel, Kiki and Gaby had suddenly become best friends. Kind of a surprising trio, since their personalities definitely contrast each other. They had been walking around laughing, Gaby seemed to be a lot less nervy than she had originally appeared to be. Maybe she was just more awkward at first. When we all met in the dining hall, they were still chattering on and howling with laughter. Something was funny, hey, at least some people were having even the slightest bit of hope in this place.

Nothing to report back. We all had a large group conversation, discussing the new rooms and the new floor that had been opened to us. At some point, a few people wanted to put on a play. I'd love to take part in one, to be honest! So we all started pitching ideas and trying to piece something together, it was definitely going to be exciting if we went through with it. After we had finished chatting to each other, we decided to head upstairs to the stage. We had all decided to do the performance after all, maybe if it was good enough Monokuma might set us free. Roles had been decided, but props are going to be assigned to different people later. It was while we were practising that Mina ended up falling through the floor unexpectedly. There's a trapdoor on the stage, if it's pushed downwards with enough force then it caves in and then springs back up. There's a small tunnel underneath that leads to an incinerator under the stage, which then leads back out to the sidelines. Pretty well hidden, but it's a pretty odd place to put an incinerator. The stage has fairly large gaps between floorboards.
