Paring is Kian Lawley and Sam Pottorff. Thought of this and really wanted to write it. Yes btw I am aware that Sam is engaged and Kian has a girlfriend, and that they're not gay, this is the work of FICTION.

Holding a red solo cup and resting against the kitchen counter, Sam watched with careful eyes as Kian leaned into a shorter, very drunk girl. Kian smiled as his hand moved to her back, gently pulling her closer. Sam felt bile twist in his stomach and threaten to rise, it felt like there was a stone in the pit of his gut. Sam for as long as he can remember has had a mad crush on Kian. They've been friends since middle school, and Sam always felt like throwing up when he saw Kian with another girl. Kian was leaning down further into her, his lips wound with hers. Sam turned, dropping the cup in the trash, and moving through the crowded house, searching for air. He finally reached the door of the crowded house and yanked it open, taking a deep breath in the crisp air. He leaned against the porch railing, feeling much drunker then he intended on getting. Sam slid past the railing and sunk in the grass when the front door opened.
Kian stood with another girl, his fingers wound into her hair when he heard the door close. He pulled away and glanced outside, seeing Sam moving into the lawn. He felt a tug at his heart, a feeling that he's been ignoring recently. Everytime he looks at Sam, his heart speeds up and every time Sam touches him, it's like his skin is on fire. Kian doesn't know what this feeling is, or rather he's too afraid to find out. He can't have feelings for Sam, he's not gay. He's never liked a guy like that and he never will. But the thought of Sam sitting out there alone broke his heart so he detached himself from the girl in an instant, and moved out the door.
"Sam?" A familiar voice spoke in a low voice and Sam turned, to see Kian standing in the doorway. Sam didn't say anything as he turned his attention back to the darkened street running in front of the frat house. Sam was never fond of Kian's frat friends, they were always pushing him to do stupid shit like this. He heard the sound of sneakers on the wood before he sees Kian sit next to him, his knees pulled up. Kian felt his whole body flush when Sam's tongue darted over his lips and he quickly turned his attention to the grass. He noticed Sam's expression cast and focused on the ground, his arms loosely hugging his knees, his hands clasped together.
"You okay?" Kian asks him, feeling concerned as he can tell Sam isn't feeling like himself right now.
"Yeah. Just not in the party mode I guess." Sam said lowly, remembering Kian pressing his lips to the girls.
"You're not drunk enough then." Kian joked, bumping his shoulder with Sam's. Kian felt fireworks erupt when his shoulder hit Sam's and he found it difficult to move back away from him.
"Actually, I think I'm too drunk." Sam says, weaving the long grass between his fingers.
"Stay for a little while longer." Kian asked, his heart pounding. Kian was going to try something tonight, a new way to catch the girls attention. Sam is the only person he can get away with trying it out on. He wasn't close enough to any of his frat friends. Sam looked over at Kian, feeling his heart swell when Kian gave him his "begging eyes". Sam groaned, standing up from the grass, Kian following suit with a joyful grin on his face. Kian placed his hands on Sam's shoulders as they walked back in, pulling Sam close to him in a short hug. Some girls cheered when Kian walked back in, and he smiled, grabbing one and pressing a kiss to her lips, reminding Sam as to why he was leaving in the first place. Sam stood by Kian, startled when Kian grabbed his hand and pulled him further into the group of people. Kian suddenly cupped Sam's cheeks and pressed his lips to Sam's. Sam's eyes widened as he heard people screaming and hollering. Electricity boiled through Sam's blood as Kian's lips moved with his. Sam suddenly came to his senses and shoved Kian back from him. Kian only did it to rile up the girls. Kian looked around, smirking but Sam shoved past him. Kian turned to see Sam storming out of the house. He moved to follow but a girl latched her lips to his neck, and Kian suddenly found it hard for him to move. Sam felt tears in his eyes, feeling his heart breaking at the thought that he was only another pawn to Kian, another way to attract girls. He stormed down the street, tears running down his cheeks. Suddenly a blaring horn catches Sam's attention, and he turns to the sound of screeching tires and blinding headlights.
A scream pulls Kian's attention back out the window. He squints as he moves to the window, seeing a body lying in the street and a woman standing by the car. Kian feels the life drain out of his body when he notices tuffs of blonde hair belonging to the body in the street. Kian turns and shoves past everyone as he sprints out the door and to the street. It's almost slow motion as he stutters to a stop and drops next to the body, rolling the boy onto his back. A sharp gasp leaves Kian's lips when he sees Sam's face, cut and bloody as his eyes are closed.
"Someone call an ambulance!" Kian cries desperately and the girl nods, pulling out her phone. Kian looks down at Sam, with tears in his eyes and his trembling hands bringing Sam closer to his body. One reoccurring thought popping up in Kian's mind.
Sam, baby, please don't be dead.
