[Untitled : Chapter 4]

As the bell rang, everyone sigh in relief, the short mathematics test had ended.

It was the second day of school for Amanda and thing went so far so good, she was glad to make new friends, her new BFFs, Natalie (Nat), Alexandra (Alex) and Felix (Fel).

Amanda walked to cafeteria with her new found friends, Natalie and they were talking about the test they were having before. They went to the spot where Felix and Alexandra were sitting.

"Hey girls, how's your maths test?" Felix greeted us, giving the 'please hint me the difficulty of the test face'.

"Great! I think you will be the culprit who murdered the test." Natalie chuckled while I nodded. The test was all right for us but we thought Felix being Felix who the smartest will just had it as a piece of cake.

Felix grinned, and mouthed 'thanks'.

"Fel, how many time must I tell you to stop flirting with my BFFs, if you don't stop you will ended up sitting alone and don't come begging me." Alexandra scolded her brother playfully.

"Yes Madame!" Felix laughed, then Alexandra slapped his back, and he fake a 'Ow'.

"Oh Alex, what about talk about the Thaddeus guy you met during the break." Felix laughed.

"Oi shut up bro." She blushed

They all ended up laughing and then carry on with their lunch with chats.

After two long busy week in school, Amanda hang out with Natalie and Felix at Natalie's house since Alexandra had a date, they had to spend their Friday afternoon alone playing Wii and PlayStation.

As the clock struck seven, Felix left and Amanda and Natalie were alone having their little chat.

"Hey, I think you really should sign out for this." Natalie waved a piece of paper in her hand.

Amanda took it and read the bold words. 'Do you love to sing? Have a big dream? It's your life? Stop staring, go sign up for 'I CAN SING' now. '

"Wow, no way Nat, this is way to much for me. I can't, you know I have stage fright." Amanda protested.

"Mandy, you can, both you and I know that, you had a great voice, why don't you give it a try?" Natalie assured her.

"I will think about it, thanks for the news." Amanda said honesty, entering herself in a singing contest, she had to stop herself from freaking out.

Amanda heard the sound of keys unlocking the door as she set the dinning table.

'' Mummy, dinner is ready." She greeted her mother with a bright smile.

''Thank you Am honey.'' Jessica looked exhausted.

''Am honey, I was wondering if you would like to spend this weekend with your father?'' Jessica continued as she remember the phone call from Kyle.

Kyle had phoned Jessica this afternoon to invite her and Amanda to his new house. However, Jessica told her she will be busy which is the truth, she had this new project and a new book being due soon according to her target so she can pass her finished work to her editor, Grace. She would choose not going to Kyle's if she was not tied up with work.

''I think I can pop by on Saturday after my work, Felix will be giving Natalie and I a ride to Natalie's to hangout but since I had to visit Dad, I don't think they mind me joining them later in the evening.'' Amanda replied her mother who looked a bit worry.

"Are you sure you will be fine Am? I'm sorry I cannot spend the weekends with you because we will be going to one of site as the director need my help." Jessica felt guilty by not spending much time with her daughter since she has a successful career.

"Mum ! I'm 142.9% sure that I will be fine, don't worry. By the way, last Friday I told you I will be sleeping over at Natalie's on the weekends, and I will be fine there." Amanda assured her mother.

" Let's have our dinner before they became cold." Amanda chuckled.
