As they lift me into the sky, my thoughts race. My heart paces. But at the same time I feel hope. Maybe they'll keep me forever; Then I won't have to be here anymore. It's sad to say I have faith in little green men to care for me, but it seems it's the only option I have. My father was too busy with his drugs to blink a lash at me. And my mother was too busy trying to forget her past to love me.

But my sister is a different story. My Aunt would tell me about her all the time. About the dreams she used to have. She had the same dreams that I have now, before she disappeared

Every dream is the same. I'll be in bed, staring into the darkness in my room, cast by the night. Then everything grows deathly silent, and my body grows colder, and colder. Then I hear a deafening screech, followed by a blinding light. Then, like pixels the ceiling breaks apart; exposing the massive saucer hiding in the night sky. Then, as I begin to levitate; the dream ends.

As I think back to what used to just be stories, and dreams; a tear burns down my cheek. The Saucer, only meters away from me. Within each inch, it begins to feel more real. It it until I can smell the clean metal of the bottom of this strange ship, that I whisper to myself; "I'm ready."
