The next few days were fine, but exhausted, after a long day of school studying with lots of tests, Amanda had training after school.

She being a newbie had been there for a few days, and their coach announced that there will be a national competition coming up, so many of them were busy training their stamina.

It was another tiring day, Amanda had just finished her Additional Mathematics class assignment which had cracked her head. She headed to the indoor stadium to prepare for her training. Suddenly she felt someone had pushed her, she was fortunate that she did not hurt herself.

"Watch where you are going." She looked up and saw a blond girl who was one of the seniors.

"What are you doing Brittany?" Kenneth walked towards the blond when Amanda was wondering where did he came from.

"Nothing Ken, no damages done, see." She smirked and walked away with her clique.

"Are you all right?" Kenneth asked Amanda as she was standing up.

"I'm fine, where did you come from? Hiding from your fans again?" Amanda laughed.

"She was jealous of you, Ha ha right hiding from my annoying fans." Kenneth replied.

"Jealous of me? You must be kidding, I am nothing but a newbie." Amanda chuckled.

"Because you are the rising star here, you are not nothing but a great swimmer." Ken explained.

"Okay, thanks." Amanda smiled.

She continued to train hard for her stamina, and as usual went home exhausted.

It had been a few days, finally the school workload had started to stop increasing, and Amanda could start having some fresh air,

"Hey are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Natalie asked.

"Nope, I don't want to be a third wheel, by the way I had to go for training. Have fun guys!" Amanda laughed.

Amanda rushed off to her training even though it was still early. She had join the school swimming team last week, swimming was her favourite sport and now the team is training hard for the upcoming national competition.

"Yo ! You are way too early today." Kenneth the shining star of the team greeted Amanda.

"Hi, well since I had time to kill so I came early." Amanda replied.

"Hiding from your fans again?" Amanda laughed.

Kenneth patted the empty seat next to him and Amanda took the seat.

"Well then you could be my audience." He smiled then looked back at his guitar and started playing some songs and mix them up like a fusion.

"That was great! How did you do that? I'm sure you are joining the 'I CAN SING'." Amanda smiled brightly.

" I just play with it, and nope I'm not joining, I can play but not sing." Kenneth chuckled.

"You want to hangout after training? Since today is Friday, I'm free and I can teach you how to play the guitar if you like." Kenneth asked.

"Sure, thank you Kenneth!" Amanda thanked him and then skipped to prepare for the training.

Kenneth smiled.

After their training, Amanda and Kenneth went to Candices' Pizza for dinner.

"I will have Pepperoni and she will have Hawaiian." Kenneth made the order.

"Thank you." Amanda smiled.

They enjoyed their dinner, chatted and Kenneth managed to teach Amanda play a guitar.

"You should really try joining the 'I CAN SING'" Kenneth said.

Amanda shook her head.

"I'm serious, you have a lovely voice." Kenneth compliant.

"Thanks." Amanda replied, hiding her blush, it pretty weird to have a praise from someone you barely know.

'Maybe I should give it a try, no harm trying, ' Amanda thought.
