Mabel Pines puffed her cheeks, throwing another paper airplane, of which she doodled a unicorn on an hour before, towards the ceiling in boredom.
School was going to end in a week.
Dipper Pines, her brother, walks through the door to their shared bedroom, putting his backpack off of both shoulders and dropping it beside the desk, of which was by the right of the door frame.
His backpack had the stars on them, the Big Dipper constellation highlighted, as if to show it was Dipper's backpack.
The desk had photos and notes everywhere, blue sticky notes scattered on the wall above.
Mabel took no notice towards her brother's arrival.
That is, until the boy was struck in the eye with a paper airplane. Letting out a noise of pain, he clamped his hand over his eye, looking over at first the airplane then Mabel.
She just looks at him, surprised as if he'd suddenly showed up.
Silence rang throughout the house.
He lets out a sigh of slight annoyment, and heads to his desk, pulling out his homework for the day. He gets to work right away.
"Dipper?" The brunette said aloud, breaking the silence, of which was beginning to become quite uncomfortable.
He lets out a hum in response, not looking up as his pencil furiously scrapes gently against the paper. 'Writing on a dead tree with a dead tree that has been stuffed with lead. Huh.' He thought to himself momentarily.
"Do you think we'll see Grunkle Stan this summer?" Mabel hesitates slightly, and then flops back down to her original position. Staring at the ceiling.
Dipper perks up.
That question again.
"Mabel...." He growls out, his voice low, rumbling.
"I know, I know, we've already been through this. But come on Dip! School ends in a week!" She got louder slightly, trying to get Dipper over to her side.
Dipper faltered slightly, knowing his sister was right.
"...Ask mom and dad." He said after a while.
"Oh thank you Dip~!" She sang out happily, as she bolted out of the room.
Dipper rolled his eyes, hating that nickname. He wasn't in the best mood. Hasn't been, ever since school started again really.
Mabel suddenly lets out a scream.
His eyes became wide, as Mabel bursts through the bedroom door.
"DIPPER GUESS WHAT" She yells, scaring the poor boy out of his chair.
"W-what?" He asks, stumbling to reassess his bearings, putting his hat back upon his head.
"WE CAN GO AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-" He cuts her off by placing his hand over his mouth.
"We still have a week of school" He says calmly.
Mabel groans and flops into her pillow, muffling her groaning slightly.
Only a week away.
