It was a long, boring day at the castle. Everyone, including spike, was hanging around the map. An awkward silence settled heavily in their atmosphere. "So..." Twilight began. No one responded. Once again, silence fell.
Rainbow let out a loud groan. "I don't suppose you've got the new Daring Do book yet, huh Twilight?"
"For the eighth time Rainbow..." Twilight winced, "no." Rainbow sighed and rolled her eyes.
Pinkie perked up and blurted out with her ecstatic excitement, "GOT ANY GAMES?" Her outburst caused a few of her friends to jump in surprise.
Rainbow elated as well. "Like truth or dare?" She said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"No silly! BOARD games," Pinkie replied with a small giggle. Rainbow's excitement immediately busted like a raincloud as she gave a small frown.
"Sorry, dear," Rarity expressed her hoity-toity attitude, "but we've gotten wise enough to know not to play truth or dare with you if we want to survive one night."
"Fine.." growled Rainbow as she looked at Twilight, "got any?"
"Yes, I happen to have board games, but they are locked away in a closet. We'd have to go and get one," Twilight ascended from her chair, her wings flapped gently and carried her to the door, "follow me."
Soon, they reached the closet on the top floor. Upon Twilight opening the closet, Pinkie had a small spasm, "SEARCH PARTY!" she screeched as her fore hooves stretched out wide and pulled everyone in, "FIRST ONE TO FIND THE FUNNEST GAME WINS!"
The six of them searched through the relatively small closet. For how big this castle was, one would assume the store rooms would be larger.
"Twilight! Where are you!" Spike's voice rang through the hall. Just as Twilight was to answer, the door slammed shut.
"Spike! Spike, open the door!" Twilight pushed against it. It wouldn't budge.
"Wait... now why would the door lock on its own?" Rarity queried. The mane six looked at eachother for a moment before it dawned on them... they were trapped in the closet.
"Guys... my stomach kinda... hurts," Rainbow whined, annoyed. She gently sat down on her rump, holding her stomach
"Rainbow, now isn't the time for this; We need to get out of here," Twilight used her magic to try and open the door. The castle's magic prevented her from doing so.
Rainbow stayed where she was. "Well it's kinda hard to help when you can barely move without your stomach cramping up."
"Naw. I know what Rainbow is feelin'... I ain't feeling too well myself," Applejack cringed a bit.
"Do you think it might have been... umm... the food?" Fluttershy had sat down, her tail encompassing her.
"Don't tell me you're all getting sick," Rarity groveled.
"Come on, we have to get out of here," the purple horse continued to make her great escape.
"And how? We don't have any means of doing so... but maybe Spike will hear us," Rarity replied.
"Maybe... Spike! Spiiiike!" Twilight began shouting. The rest joined in; The ensemble of trapped ponies crying out for help soon died down after realizing he couldn't hear them. A small silence started to take form. But it didn't last long before a small *Prrrrt...* escaped Rainbow's cyan tush. She froze in place, eyes wide and a blush forming on her cheeks
"Heh heh... sorry."
"Rainbow, whatever you do... don't get sick in here with me," Rarity grimaced at the thought.
