[Untitled : Chapter 11]
Amanda took a slow stroll along the coast of the beach after Mia went to play a beach volleyball match.
She sat beside a mangrove tree that stood on the sandy shore thinking how's her parents are. She remembered how her life used to be. When she was younger, her parents were there with her, they went to different places -parks and some natural outings despite her parents' busy schedule. When she was ten, she heard her parents quarreling and it get worst each time. She wondered why everything changes and she hated every part of the argument. Soon, her parents rarely talked much and her mother had went to a bit of depression. Her cheerfully mother had changed 360 degree. When Amanda was thirteen, she was tired of all the drama at home, she went to parties since her parents do not bother where she went and trust her. When everything at home went worst, she thought of getting her parents' attention, she skipped schools and her grades drop right to the ground.
It was that day, after her mother was meeting her teacher regarding about her grades, she saw the little secret that her father had been hiding and she was disappointed at his actions. She hated him for everything, she hated him. But does she still hate him? A question she kept asking.
Now, what Amanda want was her parents to be happy with their own lives, that's all.
"Why are you here?" She asked as she saw Kenneth sat beside her.
"Hiding from you know who." Kenneth replied.
"Wow, your fans stalked you around, you must be famous." Amanda chuckled.
"Yeah, too famous, just joking. Why are staring at the empty spaces for ages?" Kenneth asked.
"It's nothing, want to go wakeboarding?" Amanda suggested.
"Sure, it's better than the volleyball match." Kenneth agreed.
"Chris ditched you for that too?" Amanda laughed as he nodded.
They went to wakeboarding in the fine afternoon and Amanda was having fun with the water sport, it had took everything bothering her away.

Kyle was having a frustrating day, the workload was part of the reason but what annoyed him was the thirteenth unknown letter that threaten him. He threw it in the almost fulled box which consisted of the previous letters. When he received the first one, he thought it was some pranks that people did as they were envied of his success. But he had been receiving it for almost two weeks. Each of them were the same, with rude comments and threaten to hurt his family- apparently which was referring to his daughter, Amanda.
Kyle was worried about his daughter but he knew she was away with her team and she was safe. He dialed the police and the agents to aid the investigation. He hoped this will stop no matter it was a threat or a prank.
He was about to finish his last report, the phone rang and it was Jessica.
"Hello." He answered.
"Kyle, there's something important I need to tell you, are you free tomorrow?" Jessica asked.
"Sure, is two in the afternoon at La Vine Coffeehouse all right?" Kyle replied.
"Sure." Jessica agreed and disconnected.
Jessica was looking at those weird notes she had received from the doorsteps, they looked like some threat and everything that brought together was it had to do with Kyle, from the words that the person used it was trying to hurt Kyle and Amanda. Despite what Kyle had done to her, she was still worried about her as they were still friends and when it come to Amanda's safety it meant a lot to her. She should be angry with him, but she let everything fade away, she love her new life and forgive and forget was what she think was right about.
It was one fifty, Jessica reached the Coffeehouse after looking part of the film for her novel. Not long Kyle came, Jessica told him about the weird notes and gave them to him.
"I think this is not a prank, someone is trying to do something foolish, I had received letters from the a person and I assume it was the same person who sent these. I already hired agents to help to investigate this case and there should be news about it soon." Kyle told Jessica.
"Hope so, as long as Amanda is safe." Jessica gave a weak smile.
They goes on about this mystery sender and they chatted a bit about their life and Amanda.

"There's a party tonight, come Amanda let's go together." Mia who was dressed for the party convinced Amanda to join with her.
"Okay okay, just give me five minutes." Amanda gave up debating with her friend, maybe she was right she should be chilling out instead of rotting.
They walked towards where the event was held, everyone was there enjoying the atmosphere and dancing along with the music. Amanda drank a bit of the cold drink and went to chat with couples of teammates. After spending some time there, she felt bored and fled away when Mia was busying dancing.
She walked along the coast towards an empty site where she assumed no one will be there. She could enjoy the beautiful sight of the sky alone.
"Hello stalker." She turned towards the voice she heard and saw Kenneth.
"Hello stranger who's hiding away from your fans." She replied as she sat beside the empty tree.
"Oh shut up about the fans, why are you here?" Kenneth asked.
"Oh why should I tell you?" Amanda challenged jokingly with her glare.
"Okay, fine you win." Kenneth said.
"That's fast, I'm here because I want to get out of the party. What's so nice about party?" Amanda replied.
"I don't know, do you know?" Kenneth continued.
"I used to party until I'm bored, so it's not a big deal to me now." Amanda laughed.
"You does not look like those party kind, more like those innocent ones."Kenneth replied honesty.
"Okay, now you know. Ha ha too bad I'm not a good girl." Amanda teased.
Amanda told him everything she had been bottling and the real reason for leaving the City with her mother.
"Do you hate your dad?" Kenneth asked.
"I don't know, I used to hate him, you know like very angry with him. But now I feel numb, he's my dad and a human too, that's the fact and he made mistakes too." Amanda replied.
"I don't think I will believe in love anymore, you know when I was younger, I thought life was easy, you will find your prince and princess and live happily ever after like what fairy tales were but I don't think it was that way now, see... my parents used to be like that then this happened. I don't understand it sometime. Why do they want to get hurt in the end?" Amanda continued feeling a bit upset.
"What if someone tell you, he like you will you believe?" Kenneth asked.
"I don't know, maybe it was some crushes, he will get over it." Amanda replied while drawing random shapes on the sand.
"What if it was not some crushes and he can't get over it." Kenneth continued.
Amanda stayed quiet and did not answered.
"Amanda look at me." Kenneth said.
Amanda slowly turned and looked at him with her almost dried tears face.
"I like you." Kenneth said while Amanda looked at him blankly.
"You don't have to feel the same way." Kenneth told her and hugged her.
