Chapter 14

[Untitled : Chapter 14]

Brittany was left at the entrance of the party, she walked and waited tills the van had drove away then ran into the party and searched for someone she know to help Amanda. Unfortunately, she lost her phone on the way when both Amanda and her was caught by the kidnapper.

Hold on Amanda. She thought.

She saw someone familiar walked passed and she was about to ask for a phone to call the police, he saw her.

"Hey Brittany, did you saw Amanda?" Kenneth asked casually.

"Kenneth... Amanda got kidnapped, dialed the police. Quick! I will explained it later." Brittany said.

Kenneth called the police and asked Amanda's clique to contact her parents.

While they were waiting, Brittany explained to them.

"Do you remember where was the place?" The police officer asked.

"I don't remember much about it but I know it's a warehouse in the west. But I knew how the guy looked like." Brittany told everything she knew and aid with the sketching of the kidnappers.

"Hello, yes I am, ok we will tell you if he contacted us." Kyle answered the phone.

Jessica was told that Amanda was kidnapped in the party, she was worried and praying that her daughter will be fine.

"The police said if the kidnapper contact us, we will have to let them know." Kyle said while Jessica nodded.

After four hours, the phone rang. Kyle looked at the worried Jessica and picked up the phone.

"Kyle, it had been long since we contacted. I know you are worry about your precious girl, but don't worry, I will not do any harm on her if you give me what I want." The voice sounded familiar to Kyle as he recalled, he knew who it was.

"Okay, I agreed." Kyle replied.

He told Kyle the ransom he wanted.

"I want it to be a quick one, I will call you the day after tomorrow." The person said before disconnecting.

"What did the person said?" Jessica asked.

"He just want the money, that's all." Kyle replied.

Amanda followed as what she was instructed. She sat on the ground still tied up. No point struggling and escaping, she knew that Uncle Matthew will not do anything to harm her, he knew about what happened to her family and she treated Darren as her brother.

After Matthew had left to make a call to Kyle, Amanda was left with his accompany, who later on Amanda found out was Nick.

"Do you need anything?" He asked when she looked at him.

"Nope, I'm just wondered how's Darren. Do you know him?" Amanda asked.

"You mean Mat's son?" He asked.

"Yup, I had not seen him since I moved here." Amanda said.

She knew something had happened which caused Matthew to be desperate for money.

"He fell a week ago and was in coma." Nick replied.

Amanda nodded sadly, "You know what?" She asked.

"I think you are too good to be a kidnapper." She said without waiting for his answer.

They continued talking until Matthew came back with bottles of water and some packed food.

"Nick, untied her." Matthew ordered.

Amanda was shocked that Matthew trusted her not for escaping and they talked about many things, her mum, Darren and some other things. He still look like the Uncle Matthew she knew.

One thing she know for sure was he was not a threat to anyone.
