Dream Girls is a twelve-member South Korean girl group band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. They are called Dream Girls because the girls are achieving their dreams by hard work and determination.
The girls are divided into two units: Cotton and Velvet. Cotton Unit and Velvet Unit were previously sub-units, but Big Hit Entertainment changed them to actual units because of the popularity among the fans. Cotton Unit shows a cute side, while the Velvet Unit shows a more elegant side.
The girls released a pre-debut music video, entitled Dream Girls, which shows each of the girls trying to achieve something and in the end, they managed to succeed in their goals.
The created their first Twitter account on October 6, 2016, to connect more with their fans.
The girls debuted on October 11, 2016, with the song Momomo, which features Lee Kwangsoo, from their debut album - Dreams Begin.
On October 22, 2016, Mimi was announced that she will be hosting Show Champion with Ikon's Junhoe. Lucy was announced that she will be participating in We Got Married with Seventeen's Joshua.
On December 6, 2016, Big Hit Entertainment added Kang Seulji to Dream Girls.

minS, also known as Lee Min Seo, is the Leader, Main Vocalist and Dancer of Dream Girls. Born on June 11, 1995 in Jeju, South Korea and lived in both Jeju and Suwon, South Korea. She represents Disney Princess - Snow White. She is in the Cotton Unit.
