Moonlight Cures The Memory

Chapter 4

Aki just give him a smirk. Then, that guy fall onto the ground with blood covered his dead body. O-kay..  Why so suddenly? Before I know it, I've been pulled into someone's arms.

Yuki: Shun?

Shun glances at me. Then he continue his fight. Even I never meet him, only looking at his mask, I know it's him. Just the same in my dream.

Shun: Close your eyes.

I obey. Then, I feel something sprinkle on my cheeks!

Shun: Don't open them until I tell you to.

At first, I just listen to his order but then, I can't hold back my curiosity anymore. I open my eyes slowly and there's a bunch of dead bodies in front of me. I close my eyes again. I'm trembling in fear. I hide my face into his chest.  Trying to forget what I just saw. Then, it's over.

Shun: Stubborn.

I look up to him. He really looks annoyed of me. I can tell by his obviously annoyed expression. His hand unwrapped around my waist.

Shun: Sorry.

Shun didn't say a word and he just go away.

Aki: Let's go.

I follow Aki into the room that I first met Aki. I wonder, whose room is this?

Aki: This is my room. But, you can sleep here. I rarely sleep.

I thanked him and he goes out. About 30 minutes later... I've cleaned myself and I wear a kimono that Aki left for me. It's cute, actually. Then, I went to their kitchen and I wonder... It's a kitchen or a messy stable for old horses?

Yuki: What... are... you... guys... doing?

Aki, Shun and Ko look at me. The kitchen is really a disaster. It's really messy. The vegetables are on the floor. The uncooked rice is in the frying pan. The fish is like... "Help! I can't live on this floury floor!"

Ko: Err... Mio had gone and we don't know how to cook.

Yeah-- right... I kicked him. Maybe... He had arrived at the moon safely just now... Hehe.. My bad..

Yuki: You guys... *sigh* Get out. Let me cook.

They follow my order. I know that they already understand that if they cook, someone will get poisoned. Or maybe, everyone.

Yuki: So, what should I cook?

After an hour, I called the boys to gather at the table. Aki, Shun, Ko, Mio, who is finally home and wait-- who's that guy?

Yuki: Who are you? *pointing at him*
Shuichi: I don't believe you forgot about me. I'm Shuichi. *sigh* A maiden forgot about me? Ahh... I'm hurt.
Yuki: What? Sorry.. But, you wore mask earlier.
Shuichi: Oh, I forgot to take them off that time. It's my preparation for the Autumn Dance Festival at the end of this season.

O-kay. Now, I can see his whole face... He's the most handsome guy among them. ^////^

All: Ittadakimasu!!

I'd prepared shushi, sashimi and udon.

Shuichi: You'd cooked a lot, Yuki.
Aki: Yeah. Mio often cooked one type of dish only.
Shun: It's okay. The rest, we could give them to the poor villagers.

They talked happily together except for Shun. He keep silent. A species that doesn't like to talk, maybe?  Then, I feel something warm on my cheeks. Ko! He's brushing my cheeks?!
