Stupid For You

Before you read, this is a SEQUEL. So, I suggest you read Damaged Kids before going on to this one so you won't get confused
-It had been a year since Josh and I got married and it was amazing. We were a team; we understood each other and wanted almost the same things. It was refreshing to have a marriage where arguments were almost non-existent and our love for each other was still bright and strong. Yeah, the long periods of separation were horrible, but it only made us stronger and it brought us closer.
So much has happened in the past year, it seemed unreal. I opened my very own tattoo shop called Doll House and both Tyler and Josh started a record company together. The company exceeded all expectations and had about five bands signed to them. They were taking it step by step, not wanting to rush anything.
Jenna and Tyler welcomed their second child, a girl named Nevaeh and she was the most absolute beautiful thing. She had Jenna's piercing blue eyes and face, but she also had Tyler's nose and smile. Somedays, she'll be the spitting image of Jenna and other days she'll be the spitting image of Tyler. Seeing them with children makes me excited to have kids of my own with Josh.

I was at my tattoo shop, Doll House Tattoo Parlor, working on a brand new sketch for a long-time customer and friend of mine. I was adding a couple of details when someone spun me around on my chair. I got scared and was about to yell at whoever it was when I saw my husband's face.
"Josh! What are you doing here?! I thought you weren't leaving Australia until next week?" I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a long, awaited kiss.
"I lied. I wanted to surprise you." Josh pulled away to say those seven words and then pulled me back in.
Twenty One Pilots had just released their sixth studio album and it hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Instead of arenas, they sold out stadiums and were on the cover of every single magazine.
It was sometimes chaotic, having paparazzi everywhere, but we were lucky enough to not be constantly on the covers of gossip magazines and websites. Josh and Tyler were humble guys, the press didn't have enough 'juicy' gossip to give them a bad reputation.
"Hey Lydia, do you- woah. Go get a fucking room." Emmy grabbed a pen from my desk and threw it at us.
"We are in a room, my office to be exact." I raised an eyebrow teasingly.
"At least close it. Anyway, I need you to sign these." Emmy handed me a piece of paper and a pen. "It's a confirmation for the new frames and ink." I nodded and signed my name, still not over the fact that it is now Dun and not Gonzalez.
"So.... How was Australia?" I asked, turning to face him as soon as Emmy left.
"It was sick, but I wish you were there with me." Josh sat down on my chair and made me sit on his lap.
"I know babe, but I can't leave the shop. Not after we just opened it." I wrapped my arms around his neck and rested my head on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be here for your grand opening. How was it?"
"Stop being sorry, I understand. But it was great! It was so much fun." I went into detail on the opening and about all of our friends that came. When I finished, Josh told me about his time in Australia and how his shows were.
"I'm glad you had fun. Did you get to hold koala?" I asked excitedly. Josh shifted me to his left leg and pulled out his phone and unlocked it, giving me a glimpse of his background picture that was one of our wedding pictures. I smiled at it and focused on the set of pictures in front of me. There was one of Josh, one of him and Tyler, and finally of him and a kangaroo. He looked good in every single one and I was lucky to have Josh as a best friend and husband.
