CHAPTER 1: IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

Minjoo's POV~

*KRRINGGGG~~~KRRINGGG~~~!!!!*

Asdfghjkl, what the actual fuuuuuDDDGGGEEE!!!

OMG I'M LATE!!

Today I'm supposed to go to Hallim for my interview and introductions. I know, having an interview AFTER you get accepted is kinda weird...but whatever.

And WTH??? I set my alarm to 7am when I was supposed to wake up at 6!!!

I rush around my flat, brushing my hair and my teeth at the same time. I wash my face and quickly put on a little lipgloss and change into my clothes.

I throw on an above the knee flower patterned skirt and a doll neck blouse. I yank black stockings on and wear a knee length light pink trench coat over the top.

I slap a beanie on my head and I'm ready to go.

As you might know, its FREAKISHLY COLD HERE!!! In winter, Seoul can get down to -10 degrees.

Right now it's -3 degrees.

I rush into the kitchen and stop.

"Are you alright Minjoo?"

My dad is just casually sitting at the table drinking a cup of coffee.

"Appa!!!! Asdfghhjkl do you know what time it is? Why didn't you wake me up?" I half scream.

Dad: O___O *Looks up at the clock* O___O *Turns to me* >.< *Points at the clock*

Me: *Looks at the clock*

O____O!!!!!

Oh my holy SHHHHEEEEETT!!!!!

It's only 6:10am.

"PUAHAHAHAHA!!!" My dad laughs.

So not funny dad T____T

"By the way, you look nice today!" Appa says and gives me a thumbs up.

"Thanks."

I saved up my money for these clothes. Everyone knows that you ALWAYS have to look presentable when you go to Hallim.

"Anyway, break a leg Minjoo!!! Show Hallim what you've got!!!" Appa shouts, and dances around.

Our only porcelain cup topples over the table and smashes onto the floor.

*CRAAASSSHHH!!!*

Dad: Hehe. *Scratches head* >.<

Sigh~~~

Sometimes I wonder why we are poor. T___T

But he's my dad and I love him ^^
