Soldier x Reader

Oh man were you in for it...

Soldier was gonna chew you out. Again.

'Why do I have to be so easy to startle?' You ask yourself as you think back to your brutal mess up. You were there with the intel, just about to pass the last hallway into your own Team's intel room. That feeling of high triumph vanished with a simple shout of "Peekaboo" from an enemy Spy. Then probably the worst thing that could ever happen actually happened...

YOU DROPPED THE INTEL!

That was when the Spy took you out with a back stab. God, fuck your life.

"Oooh, you're gonna get it!" Scout sneered.

"Shut up asshole before I make you shut up!"

"Ooh yeah, you're real scary- OW!" Scout was cut off when he was hit right in the head with his own can of BONK! You grin, lowering your hand. It was always fun throwing Scout's arrogance back in his face.

"Come on darlin'. It ain't gonna be that bad." Engineer said comfortingly.

You stare at him with narrow eyed. "Engie, this is SOLDIER. This is gonna be BAD!"

Engie just lowered his head as everyone heard loud stomps coming down the hall.

"Here we go..." Spy whispered five seconds before Soldier kicked open the door, causing it to slam into the wall with a loud smash. His head swung in your direction, making your whole body go cold. Though his helmet covered his eyes, everyone could tell he was glaring at you. There was an awkward silence before he shouted,

"YOU FUCKING DUMBASS MAGGOT!!!"

He stomped over to you and got right in your face.

"YOU DROPPED THE INTELLIGENCE!!! HOW COULD YOU DROP THE FUCKING INTELLIGENCE?!?!"

You tried to answer before being immediately cut off.

"DO NOT LOOK AT ME! I DID NOT ASK YOU A QUESTION!"

You heard someone sneer. Scout no doubt.

"YOU ARE SKUM!!!! YOU ARE WORTHLESS!!! YOU ARE THE WORST SOLDIER I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!"

As hard as you tried, you couldn't help but tear up. Of course, being so close to you, Soldier had noticed your watery eyes.

"AWWWW, IS THE LITTLE GIRL CRYING? DID I HURT THE LITTLE GIRL'S FEELINGS?"

Now you were mad. You hated being mocked.

"YOU ARE WEAK!!! WEAK, WEAK, WEAK-"

"THAT'S IT!!!" You suddenly shout back at a volume that startled everyone, even yourself.

"ARE YOU TALKING BACK TO ME MAGGOT?!?"

"SO WHAT IF I AM?!?!" You bark with the same force.

Everyone else in the room was dead silent. No one ever dared to talk back to Soldier. NO ONE.

You didn't even let Soldier get another word in before you continued.

"LISTEN YOU HARDHEADED DUMBASS! I MAY MAKE STUPID MISTAKES, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T KICK YOUR ASS BACK TO WHATEVER GOD FORSAKEN PLACE YOU CAME FROM! NEVER CALL ME WEAK!"

You didn't wait to hear his response and immediately stormed out.

"That went vell." The Medic smirked, which made Soldier give him the stink eye, shutting him up for good.

You sat in you room alone, thinking about what an idiot you were. Maybe you were an idiot, but you were a happy one. Hopefully this would teach the Soldier to treat you with respect. Suddenly there was a loud banging on your door. "OPEN THE DOOR!!!"
