Chapter 12

I woke up on Sunday. Today my interview came out. I already told Deanna about it. Damon was coming home. Jenny was going to be home, so I would have to face her. And Bailey was still upset that she didn't know about Prince Damon and Johnny. Everything was upside down. I took a shower and changed into a t-shirt and jeans. It was easier that way. Damon was supposed to be here in an hour. Bailey was pouting in her room. I knocked on her door.

"Come in." She said.

"You know I would have told you. I really wanted it to be a surprise. I was going to take you to the castle and tell you."

"You were?"

"Yeah."

"Can we still go to the castle?"

"Of course!"

"Okay, I forgive you." She ran over to me and hugged me. I smiled.

"You want to go to see Natalie now?"

"Sure."

Damon wanted me at home or with Natalie. No if's, and's or but's. But I knew he just was trying to protect me. That's why we do everything, is to protect one another. When we got there, Allison and Natalie were talking. They looked up and smiled when they saw us.

"An hour, and your interview will be up." Natalie said.

"The same time, Damon's supposed to be here." I said.

"So you guys can watch it together." Allison said.

"Yep." I walked over to the book selves to do inventory. Some of the new books came out. I pick up a copy of Cinder, Go Ask Alice, and The Selection. 

Natalie rang me up. I paid. I sat in one of the chairs I was in yesterday. I started reading Cinder. It was good. Bailey jumped on my lap. She took my phone and played a game. I read my books.

Halfway, the bell on the door rang. He finally showed up. He looked tired but still as handsome. He looked over at us and he smiled.

"Hey." He said.

"Hey. The interview is probably about to start. Let's go upstairs." I said.

I got Bailey off of me. And we walked upstairs. So did everyone else except for Natalie. She told us that she would watch the store. We got on the channel. We all sat on the couch. I sat on Damon's lap. He kissed my check. Bailey sat on Allison's lap.

"What are we going to talk about this E! News? Well we have a treat for you. An exclusive interview with the new girlfriend of Prince Damon. Now we are telling what's the hottest trends." Terrence Jenkins said.

Some random girl was telling us scarfs were hot, but doing cool knots with them. And some other fashion tips. I didn't really care. Then we got Giuliana Rancic telling us about my interview.

"I had the pleasure of doing an exculsive interview with Victoria. She really is a sweet girl. Here you guys go." The clip started playing. It was weird seeing me on camera. I looked really great. I don't know how they did that.

"Victoria how did you and Prince Damon meet?"

"I worked for his grandmother, Natalie. I was working in her book store. The very one we are sitting in. And Damon was coming for a visit. I never meet. Only heard stories of him from Natalie. I had no clue about the titles or anything." It was even weirder to hear myself talk.

"How did you meet Lindsey?"

"Lindsey and I are sworn enemies since kinder-garden. She wanted popularity and I wanted friends. She still swears I took away the coolest girl there, Deanna, also her best friend away. Deanna didn't like how all the kids valued her. She wanted out. So she sat with the loser, me, and the rest is best friend history. Deanna is my best friend. Not Lindsey." Damon laughed at that.
