Something Great (A Liam Payne Fanfiction)

Prologue

A/N: The cover for this book is something my friend made and I really like it...so I hope you like it. But enjoy this tid bit of the beginning of the story. :)

"We're going to fucking meet with a record producer! Cassie this is our life turning the right corner! This is what we've been waiting for!" Cici struggles of excitement in her seat next to me. Her brother, Gregg, who is driving, smirks and watches us through his rear view mirror. Cici's bracelets jingle in rhythm at her constant tugging of my arm. It's not that I'm not excited; I mean we are meeting with a record company that potentially could steer us the right path, but I'm scared. Things like this never happen to people like me...and I know how cliche that sounds, but it is true. 

"Cassie, please say something. You promised you wouldn't bail." I smile at her and say, "I'm not bailing. I'm excited...it's just we both have different ways of transmitting it."

"Look," Cici turns her body towards me and her eyes meet mine. "We will not regret this. We will be famous and tour and meet lots of people. We will be living the dream!" As she continues on, her smile keeps getting wider and wider. "I'm gonna get this date fucking tattooed on me." Cici sits straight and looks at her wrist. "Yes," She nods, "Yes. August 17 2012. and you're getting one with me! Like matching tattoos."

Giggling, I respond, "No thanks. I'm good with just the memory down on paper." Gregg pulls into the parking complex of the tall building. We quickly make our way to the front of the building after paying the ticket and that knot in my throat gets tighter.

Once reaching the front of the building, I gulp as I stare up at it. Cici pulls my arm and inside we go. Gregg giggles at his sisters reaction.

"Welcome to Notes Record." Cici grins from ear to ear as she says those words. And no one would've suspected that from that day on, things were going to be different. Things were about to change.
