But I Hate to Think About You With Somebody Else

HAHAHA LOOK WHO'S FXCKING BACK

Seeing him standing there right in front of me was like seeing a ghost. Ever since that day almost two years ago, I was sure that I would never see him again. I was sure I wouldn't get to hear his voice or see those eyes again."A-Adam? What are you doing here?" I stood there in shock as I took in his presence, his grey-blue eyes captivating me the way it always did. It has been quite a long time since I have seen him and it was quite of a surprise.
"Well, I heard that you opened your very own tattoo shop and decided to come and check it out. It's a pretty cool." Adam said as he looked around the place and finally his eyes landed on me.
"Oh. Well uh, thanks for stopping by. Is there anything else I can help you with?" I tried to be as polite as possible, but the reality was, I didn't want him here.
"Actually, yeah. I came to get a tattoo done, I made an appointment. I uh, I hope that it is okay." I watched as his self confidence deteriorated right in front me by each passing second. I felt bad, but after the drama he caused and seeing as I was actually happy, I was okay with it.
"Yeah, I guesss that it's okay. What did you have in mind?" I motioned for him to sit and had him describe the tattoo for me. I nodded at all of his ideas and made a mental image of the tattoo he wanted. "Okay, just sit tight and I'll be back with the drawing." He only nodded and went to the back studio to draw up the tattoo. It was a traditional piece; the tattoo was a rose with a dagger going through the middle and a banner going around it with the quote, 'Brave enought to fail'. Once I was satisfied, I got up and went back to my booth to show it to him.
When I got there, he was messing around on his phone and didn't bother to acknowledge my presence. I cleared my throat and he immediately gave his full attention.
"So are you ready?" He nodded and made him lay down on the bed-like table. I placed his left arm on a small metal table and placed the stencil on his forearm.
Once I got everything wrapped up and set up, I looked at him for permission to start and he simply nodded, that small gesture giving me the go. I turned the machine on and dipped the needle in black ink. I began the outline and progressed to shading it in with black, white, and red.
('Adams's' tattoo, played by yhe lovely Alex Babinski who plays in the band PVRIS. The picture above is an actual picture of Alex and his tattoo. Okay, go on now.)
As I was shading in the flower with red, Josh walked in. I had my full attention on the tattoo, that I didn't even notice Josh come in.
"Adam? What are you doing here?" Josh put the bag of food to th side and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Oh uh, hey Josh. Long time no see; I'm just here getting some new ink." Josh nodded and put the styrofoam container that held my food next to me. I had stopped the machine and Josh took this time to kiss me. The kiss was different, it wasn't the usual hello or goodbye peck. He pressed his lips hard against mine, showing Adam that we were still in fact happily together and that I was only his.
Josh let go and gave Adam a smug look. Adam, on the other hand, looked awkwards and uncomfortable. I felt bad because I knew that he had put everything behind me and has probably moved on from it.
"Anyways, I have a couple of things I have to do. I'll see you at house okay babe?" I nodded and he leaned down to kiss me again. He said his goodbyes to Adam and walked away.
"I didn't know you guys were still together?" Adam asked; not in a snobby way, more like in a surprised way.
"Uh yeah. Actually, we're married." I showed him my left ring finger that held my two rings. He made an 'o' face and simply nodded, obviously not expecting to hear that.
"Really? For how long?" I continued to tattoo his forearm and began to tell him.
"Mmm, about a year, year and a half. Married life is so much more different than being single or in a relationship."
"Do you guys have any kids?" The question was a little random but still answered nonetheless.
"Uh, no. Actually we are expecting one but let's just say, they're still cooking." I chuckled and winked at him.
"So you're pregnant?" I nodded and padded my bloated tummy.
"Yeah, two months to be exact. We are still on edge since the first trimester hasn't ended, but we're hopeful." Josh and I were going to keep the pregnancy a secret until next month when we were sure that everything was stable, but my excitement was too overwhelming that I let it slip.
"Oh, well congratulations! I hope everything goes smoothly for you guys. So what do you want the baby to be?" Adam had a genuine smile and seemed like he really wanted to know.
"Honestly, I want a boy. But even if it is not, I'm still gonna love him or her, or whatever it wants to be." I patted my tummy and smiled, knowing that there was a human being forming inside of me.
"I'm glad you have that mentality, many parents don't." I thanked him and continued to finish the tattoo.
I was done withing half an hour and cleaned his bloody and swollen skin. "All done. You can check it out in the mirror." Adam stood up and took in his inked skin.
"It's beautiful, Lydia. I know I can always count on you." He hugged me and then said his goodbyes, walking to Emmy's counter.
I cleaned up my station and began to get ready to leave. As I put everything in its place, I then realized how hungry I was and the fact that hadn't eaten. The food that Josh brought me earlier was still warm and began to eat. I threw away the trash and got ready to leave.
"Hey Em, I'm about to leave. Will you be okay with closing up?"
"Yeah, I'll close up. I'l see you tomorrow." We hugged each other goodbye and I got in the car. I drove down the familiar road to the gated community we lived in and got there in no time.Upon entering the house, it was quite lonely. I knew Josh was here because of his car so I figured that he was down in the basement in the studio. I went down the stairs and knocked on the door. The loud banging came to an abrupt stop and the door opened, revealing a shirtless and sweaty Josh.
"Hey J, just letting you know that I'm home." He nodded and suddenly I was pressed against his chest and his lips caught mine. I was taken back at first and soon kissed back. The kiss was feverish and passionate and breathless.
"You're mine, okay? Only mine and no asshole is going to take you away from me." I did't have to ask what or who he was talking about.
"Don't worry about it. The only person I want is you, only you." I placed a hand on his neck and brought him back down to my lips, kissing him with the same passion as before.

Pretty shit chapter, I really don't have any ideas for this sequel. It's also not going to be too long so don't expect it to be the same length as Damaged Kids. I also have a few ideas for another fanfic but I need to sort out the details. I hope you guys enjoyed and remember that feedback is and always be appreciated
