God my head hurts.
A groan escaped my mouth at the thought of getting up and going about my day, it just didn't seem very appealing at the moment.
Another groan escaped me when I tried moving my neck; it felt as if i'd held it in the same position for centuries...bloody painful.
Slowly my eyes opened only to find that I wasn't in my bed, not even Matt's bed.
"What the hell..."
My thoughts quickly deterred from my surroundings when I remembered last night, I was attacked, and by something that wasn't human.
It drank my blood, I mean what the hell? Who does that, I thought cannibalism was just some stupid story made up by a drunk hobo. Apparently not.
All of a sudden an incredibly good looking guy walked through a door that I had failed to notice, in nothing but a white towel draped dangerously low on his hips.
Water rolled down his chest disappearing into the towel making me lick my lips as I watched it.
I know i've been trying to say that I don't want to add on any more boy trouble in my life but this guy was just pure hot and sexy rolled into one. Me gusta.
The more responsible part of my frazzled brain caught up with the rest of me and I started wondering why the hell he was here and why I wasn't at the hospital since I was actually attacked by some inhuman thing.
"Why are you here? I mean, why am I not at the hospital or something?!" I asked, confusion instantly settling into my brain.
"Don't worry. You're at my house, I couldn't take you to the hospital because they wouldn't be able to help with the, er, degree of your injury. Are you hungry?" He asked, walking towards his closet and getting changed.
Just like that, all my worry had been pushed to side as if it was merely a small speck of dirt of a crisp clean shirt.
This guy was unbelievable.
Even though I was undoubtedly annoyed at this rude, beautiful guy, I was incredibly hungry.
"Yes, I am actually." I replied timidly, looking around me at the room I was in.
The guy nodded as he started walking towards the door.
"Give me two minutes." He said with a gorgeous smile on his face.
Sure enough, two minutes exactly later, the guy walked back in through the bedroom door with a tray full of toast, eggs and every other breakfast item in the human language.
"Eat up." He muttered before turning away from her and looking for something.
I didn't bother to ask what he was looking for before I jumped right in and attacked the food like a hungry hobo.
Usually I would've been embarrassed eating like this if I wasn't around Damon or Matt but right now I could not care less.
Feeling a slight pain in my neck from forcing too much food down, I remembered last night and went to touch my neck when his voice stopped me.
"Your neck is fine, you don't need to worry."
Not believing him I carried on and touch the side of my neck that was still slightly tender to the touch but realised that what he had said was true. My neck which should've had two piercing holes in it was perfectly healed ignoring the soreness.
"I was attacked last night." I stated, pushing my pretty much finished breakfast away from me and training my full attention on the gorgeous guy that was stood watching me from a window that I hadn't seen before.
I was beyond confused at the fact that, something bit me last night, I was at some random guy's house but not freaking out and said guy totally knows what happened to me.
Maybe he attacked you. I thought but quickly pushed that away when I remembered someone had pulled my attacker off before lifting me and I'm pretty sure that person was this God right in front of me.
I have no clue what the hell is going but I want some answers, like right now.
My phone beeping from my pocket quickly pulled me out of my thoughts.
Reaching to grab the phone I saw five missed calls from Matt and some texts from the Salvatore brothers asking where I was and why I wasn't at home or at Matt's.
Like they cared.
A throat clearing snapped me out of my thoughts about the Salvatore brothers and I turned to notice the guy was now sat where my feet were, staring directly at me.
I really need to know his name.
As if reading my thoughts, the guy smiled gently before speaking.
"My name is Elijah." He said, never once breaking eye contact with me.
I nodded my head slightly before stating my name which earned a flash of recognition in his eyes and a warm smile from him.
"I need you to look directly in my eyes okay Tori? No where else, but my eyes." He whispered leaning forward towards my face but not as if he was about to kiss me, that would've been weird.
I nodded my head slightly too transfixed as I stared into his brown orbs that seemed to have a swirl of golden in them.
The golden seemed to become even more pronounced as he started speaking and his pupils grew bigger and bigger with every word.
"You weren't attacked last night, you'd fallen over a lose branch on your way home and twisted your ankle, I was walking by when I saw you and offered to bring you to my house where you fell asleep. That is all that happened okay?" He told me gently but with a stern edge to it.
I barely registered what he had said until he told me that was all that happened.
My brain seemed to snap out of it as I blinked and looked at him with confusion.
"What?" I asked stupidly as I saw his eyes widen in shock and confusion as well.
Glad I'm not the only one who hasn't got a single clue what the hell's going on.
"What're you talking about? I got attacked last night..." I trailed off and his eyes never left my face searching for something but stopping at my words.
"It should've worked. I tried to compel you, you're human it should work..." He murmured under his breathe his eyes once again never straying from mine.
My eyes widened at his words.
"Compel me? What the f*ck. What is going on?"
I don't have a clue what he's talking about but he better answer me right here, right now.
