"Run faster (Y/n)! They're coming!" Denzel yelled running ahead of you.
"Ok!" you said increasing your speed and hiding behind a huge pile of snow with Denzel.
You both peeked above the snow hearing the footsteps of your opponents drawing nearer.
"Aw I think we lost them Cloud." Marlene said looking around.
Cloud stood there examining his surrounding. "I don't think so."
You and Denzel ducked down before Cloud had the chance to see you two. You took a chunk of snow in your hands, your gloves keeping your hands warm as you shaped the chunk of snow into a ball.
"Now's our chance." You whispered to Denzel.
"Who should we get first?"
You thought for a moment and smirked. "Cloud."
Denzel nodded before grabbing some snow and making a snowball.
You both peeked to see Cloud still looking around.
"Now?" Denzel asked.
"Now!" you yelled throwing your snowball at Cloud, Denzel's not far behind.
Cloud looked at the two of you and ducked at the right moment avoiding both of your snowballs. He quickly grabbed Marlene and hid behind another pile of snow.
"No!" Denzel said.
"You're going to have to try harder than that." Cloud said peeking above the pile of snow in front of him.
You and Denzel lowered your heads.
"What should we do?" Denzel asked.
"Hmm...How about we make a deal?"
Denzel nodded.
You cleared your throat before declaring, "Cloud, Marlene, Denzel and I declare war on you. If we win you guys have to...." You ducked your head down "What do we get if we win?" you asked Denzel.
"Uh...they'll have to do our laundry for a week!" Denzel said excitedly.
You nodded before lifting your head again. "You guys will have to do our laundry for a week!"
Cloud and Marlene exchanged glances.
"What should they do if we win?" Cloud asked Marlene.
Marlene thought for a moment before looking up at Cloud, her eyes glistering "They'll have to bake us a cake!"
Cloud looked at her, an eyebrow raised. "Alright."
"You'll have to bake us a cake if we win!" Marlene yelled back at you and Denzel.
"Ok!" Denzel yelled back.
You peeked up to see Cloud throwing a snowball at you. You ducked your head right before it could hit you. You looked up again to see Cloud throw another snowball at you. You ducked your head again. Alright Cloud I see how it is.
You and Denzel started to make a couple of snowballs peeking to see what Cloud and Marlene were up to. It was quiet. What are they up to?
"And Denzel was the one who broke the vase the other day. He tried to blame it on me Cloud." Marlene said loudly.
"What? I did not!" Denzel said lifting his head.
"Denzel no!" you cried. Looking up you saw Denzel's face covered with snow.
"That's a dirty trick!" you said grabbing two snowballs and aiming them at Cloud and Marlene.
Cloud lifted his head chucking before two snowballs hit his face.
You and Denzel looked at each other before laughing.
Marlene looked at Cloud and started to giggle.
You kept laughing before you felt the cold snow hit your face. Your smile instantly fell. You looked at Cloud and Marlene. Marlene looked at you and pointed at Cloud.
Cloud looked at you with a smirk on his face.
"Alright Cloud if it's a war you want, then it's a war you'll get!" You grabbed five snowballs, throwing one snowball at a time at him.
"Missed me." Cloud said.
"I'll get him for you (Y/n)!" Denzel said throwing a snowball and hitting Marlene instead.
Marlene looked pretty upset and threw a snowball missing Denzel by an inch. She threw another snowball, this time at you and hitting your shoulder.
"Ah!" you cried. "How could you Marlene?" you said pretending to be shocked.
Marlene laughed before saying "I'm sorry, (Y/n)."
"Don't say you're sorry. She deserved it." Cloud said looking at you before throwing a snowball at you.
You threw a snowball at him and ducked. Cloud continued to throw snowballs and you lifted your head and stuck your tongue at him.
He threw another snowball.
You made a silly face at him.
He threw another.
You stuck your tongue out again at him.
And another.
"Can't get me Cloud?"
Cloud threw another snowball that was about to hit you on the face before Denzel used his body as a shield.
Denzel fell on your lap dramatically.
"Denzel! Are you ok?"
"I-I don't think I'm going to make it." Denzel said before closing his eyes and sticking his tongue out and muttering "I'm dead."
"No! How could you Cloud!? I'll avenge you Denzel!" you made more snowballs and threw them at Cloud.
After you and Cloud kept throwing snowballs at each other for 30 more minutes. Marlene and Denzel started to get bored. Not wanting to bother the two of you, they got and walked away from you and Cloud. Neither of you noticing.
You finally had enough and got up, grabbing five more snowballs and making your way to Cloud.
Cloud looked up and started to throw a couple of snowballs at you as you made your way towards him.
"Here's an early birthday present!" you said throwing snowballs at his face.
Cloud looked up at you and used his hands to shield his face.
"Should we say anything?" Marlene asked looking at Denzel.
"Nah I think we should leave them the way they are." Denzel said watching you and Cloud continuing to throw snowballs at each other.
"Hey, do you think there is any hot chocolate left?"
"I think so. Should we go get some?"
"Ok. That sounds like a good idea."
Denzel and Marlene glanced back at you and Cloud one last time with smiles on their faces as they made their way back inside.
