chapter 1

Chapter 1

Beep, beep, beep, beep.

"Honey are you up? We got to leave soon." said my mom like she wants to pass out because she just got back from an operation at the hospital and before that was working for at least eight hours.

"Yes I am now! Do I have to go?"

"Yes. It's an honor to go to AYS. It's even more of an honor to get in for FREE so yes you are going. Now get dressed. We are leaving in 30 minutes so hurry up."

"Ugh. Ok"

Opening my eyes I looked at my dark blue and light green walls remembering this will be the last time until summer break since I'm going to a boarding school. I actually want to go to the school but my mom would know something's up if I didn't protest.

I need to go to this school since it will help me control my powers ( I only know how control one of my elements, earth and the others only work sometimes). Also I need to get away from here in case he comes back and finds me. But if they find out I'm a vogue then I will never be able to go back to my normal life.(even though it isn't really normal since I have a vampire boyfriend and I'm a shifter)

I get dressed quickly in skinny jeans and yellow spaghetti strap shirt with a grey cashmere sweater. I brush my slightly curly light brown hair with my fingers and brush my teeth then grab my iPhone, a book about the history and rules of AYS, and my luggage and hurry to the car. The car ride there was long but I read up on the history and listened to music to pass time.

"Honey we're almost there," my mother said shaking me to wake me up. I looked around to see miles and miles of forest and mountains almost surrounding us in the distance and coming up a mansion like structure next to a more modern multi-layered building which can be assumed to be the dorm rooms and possibly hold classes that need modern technology.

We came up next to the building to see other kids and their parents saying there good byes. I got out of the car and said goodbye to my mom and walked away and dreading what awaits me.

I know this chapter was boring but please at least try and read the next two chapters and see if you still like it then.

also i know this was pretty short but the other chapters are longer
